Might be he got a severe dressing down / ultimatum. Might be he went a little too far emotionally and his ego said "I'm done, been kicked off" even though that isn't what actually happened... Anyone with insider info actually know he's been booted? Might be the coaches are trying to help him get his mind right even now. Social media is a blessing and (mostly) a curse. I'm just thinking of the "tank is leaving" meltdown here. Is there fire behind this smoke, or is it an emotional kid doing what feels natural to him (emoting on social media instead of his family/friends)?

I agree. If he doesn’t want to play for AU, then quit wasting time and visits. Unfortunately, too many of these kids are raised w entitlement issues. I for one would rather see a 3 star come in that wants to play for AU, than a kid that has to be persuaded.
I've been persuaded to do many things in my life that turned out to be some of the best things that ever happened to me. Sometimes what you really want is right under your nose and you don't notice it until someone shows you how much it could mean to you.

This was 100% lack of faith in the defense. He knew he would need to go for two at some point, and that there would be only onsides kicks from now on. Why wait to run the two? The only reason not to go for two is so you could kick it deep and make it a "one score game." But that assumes your defense can make a stop. But lets say you so make the stop. And then score. Now, if you miss, because you kicked it deep instead of onsides before, you have less time to work with. Almost certainly not enough.
I liked the call.

Super lurker. Rare poster. The number of Auburn's tournament appearances since 2018 is 50% of the number it has had EVER since before. We're headed in the right direction. We got spoiled by an over-performing squad in 2019's tournament, and by a couple of highlight-generating machines last year. We are becoming a basketball school. I'm disappointed as hell by our performance tonight. Huge lead at the half, blown because the other guys found our (obvious) weakness and exploited it, aided by some lucky bounces. A "complete team" is something that will take years of recruiting and branding to develop, plus a little luck.
Proud of what these boys did with their tournament bid this year. Wish it could have been more. War eagle.
