Moving down to FCS will probably help Robby.

Who is the one other visit he was talking about?
Colorado.

He reminds me of Elijah McAllister. He’s very mature, all-in for his team and school, and has leadership written all over him. Don’t know what kind of player he is. I’m just going by what I’ve seen and read.

Expecting some movement on roster we weren't expecting earlier.

That’s my thought too.

We’ve been pursuing several TE flip candidates, Kylan Fox (UCF) and Amir Jackson (UF), so maybe those options aren’t looking too favorable or we’ve moved on.

Not necessarily. Recruits wear gloves of teams they don't commit to all the time.
This is true but they don’t often refer to that school as “we”.

@PikesEagle Mostly just AU commits and recruits from later classes for this one. One interesting note though. 2025 4* LB Jadon Perlotte (UGa commit) is expected back for his 3rd AU game this season.
The Iron Bowl is the next big recruiting weekend.
One 2025 visitor was Ryan Montgomery, 4* QB fro Ohio. He gushed about his visit in exit interviews as most do.

I made an entry for week 2 and it confirmed submitted but results shows a zero for me. Not happy about this. I’ll try again but if this happens again I’m done with this.

The backup I remember coming in against us was when Lamar Jackson came in for Louisville and nearly beat us himself. RA needs to get ready because his time to prove himself worthy could happen any time.
Yeah Jackson was a true Freshman and his coming out party was against us. We won the game but it was very close because of Jackson.

There is a rumor from another board that an off the field staffer was fired over it.

Hoke said Hugh had told each of the QBs of his decision. My guess is that the leak was from one of them but that’s just my guess.

@dilligas We were already at 85 scholly players assuming the long snapper was on scholly, like is almost alwas the case but rarely reported. Not having room now sounds like a player was expected to leave that now is not expected to leave.
If the LS or any other walk-on than Jackson or Levant then yes we’re at 85. Must be the case because they said they have no spot for Dumas.

They accepted it yesterday but now don't have room. The going thought is we may now think we will not have to get rid of a player we thought we may have had to.
Unless they’ve awarded another walk on a scholly they were at 84 before Dumas assuming both Sean Jackson and Blake Levant get scholarship renewals.
-
Sounds like Auburn may not have accepted Dumas’ commitment according to Clemente of 247.

I haven't really looked into Hooks but the obvious question for me is why didn't he go to Colorado with Deion? With so many players transferring out from Colorado, did Deion not try to bring Hooks with him or does Hooks want to stay closer to home? Just seeing his stats and his size, he looks like a great pickup. Are there other big schools going after him as well?
From what I’ve seen and read, Deion was all in on Hooks until he committed to Ole Miss. Then when he decommitted from Ole Miss Deion withdrew his offer. He then looked at Utah and had about a half dozen P5 offers including Auburn and Arkansas, and ultimately chose Auburn. But as I understand it Deion filled his big body WR spot with a stud receiver and signed a couple others so had some flexibility to shun Hooks. Not sure that Hooks was ever interested in rejoining Prime anyway as he was trolling them on social media a few weeks ago.

Not sure how much intel he has, but J Lee from Auburn Live On3 just removed his crystal ball of MLC to AU.
-
MLC got a slew of offers as soon as he entered the portal but only visited Arizona and Auburn. He has connections to Arizona but Auburn is thought to be the leader. I heard he’s graduating today and that might have been what he’s been waiting on but who knows?

If he has not committed by now, it is either a transfer problem or we passed on him IMO.
Our offering the JSU kid Hooks makes me wonder if either Shorter or Craig have dropped out of consideration. However, the Hooks kid looks comparable to them and has the size Hugh covets on the outside.

I think Jalen McLeod is one of them and I’m guessing Casey Thompson is the other.
2024 4* UGA Transfer CB AJ Harris

I’ve heard on one of the podcasts (War Rapport, Auburn Undercover 247, Auburn Live On3, or Lockedon Auburn) that the only two options AJ Harris is now considering are Auburn vs. a return to UGA.
