  1. is it asking too much to have a smart coach? A guy who understands situations? A guy who knows who his punt returner is? A guy who doesn’t rotate QBs for over half the season? A guy who can actually “out coach” some of his peers? I don’t think that’s asking too much. Especially considering the amount of money he’s being paid. Everyone keeps talking about the talent gap, yeah I get that, but is a team full of 5 stars never gonna have to be coached? I can’t wait to see how many times he puts them in bad situations. Auburn wasn’t supposed to be in this game, but they were and it wasn’t because of great coaching calls. The game was laid out on a golden platter for the taking and we saw the coaching decisions that were made. Are those supposed to magically go away with a team full of 5 stars?
  2. I can’t root for this team anymore as long as the coaches that made those decisions and the coaches that hired them are at Auburn. That’s the absolute stupidest play call on 4th and long I’ve ever seen in my 45 years of being a football fan.
  3. Good Lord this thread is making me hungry.
  4. Auburn 41 PSU 16 PS will have 3 players (starters) suspended for shenanigans on Friday night. They will have 1 player come up lame in warm ups and another 2 players injured in a weird play where they run into each other early in the first quarter. PS will still be ahead at the half but then Auburn will come out for the second half wearing Orange jerseys. Tigers will get TDs on a punt return, a blocked punt and pick 6 involving a lateral. Everyone other than the Auburn faithful will be stunned and this will forever be known as the Orange Crush game. That’s my prediction and I’m sticking to it.
  5. Wasn’t the best play design and wasn’t the best execution by WGJ. Jabari shouldn’t have been parked in the corner, if anything he should have in bounded the ball and trailed the play. Flan trailing allowed his man to cut off WGJ, if that’s Jabari his man is up on him and not affecting WGJ. Jabari parked in the corner is not getting the ball period because his man ain’t leaving him for anything. And when WGJ turned his back to the goal he could have hit Jabari trailing. Instead it was Flan and WGJ wasn’t giving it to him. Even with all that Kessler was wide open under the goal but WGJ couldn’t get it to him mostly because their center had his hand up. WGJ has to find away to make that pass in that spot IMO. It’s a learning experience for sure. Hopefully they figure it out.
  6. Look this ain’t rocket science. After the Ga St game it was reported that the QB position was back open and that Bo out performed everyone in practice and earned the starting spot back. That’s why Bo was back at QB1. CBH started Bo because as he said himself, Bo gave Auburn their best chance to win. And I think everyone saw that as the season played out. TJ got his chances to show what he could do. But when the season is over it’s a DIFFERENT DEAL. It was widely reported that Bo had a meeting with CBH and they discussed the future. I wasn’t there, but that’s a totally logical and reasonable expectation. It’s been rumored that Nix and maybe his dad made some “Demands”, if they did and what they were only those there know. That’s a whole different argument. But I think it’s more than reasonable that Bo wanted to know what CBH saw for the upcoming season at the QB position. Basically what his role would be. And we all know Bo chose to leave. Does anyone believe that CBH said “You’re QB1 and you’re my guy and you’re gonna be my guy til you leave.” When we haven’t heard CBH say anything like that publicly? If it looks like a duck…….. The reasonable answer here is that CBH, based on what he’s shown us all season and through out his career would say something along the lines of “whoever wins the job in spring and summer and regular practice will be QB1.” CBH has every right to want the QB he wants. He didn’t recruit Bo obviously and we all know Bo’s issues. So it’s not unreasonable or a reach IMO to think CBH wouldn’t commit to Bo the way any 3 year starting QB would want their coach too. And for the record, no I wasn’t at the meeting, IDK the facts, but this is not a hard or unreasonable conclusion based on what we do know. So when you say I’m spewing nonsense and being completely disingenuous I say fine. Sure.
  7. Every player needs a coach who believes in him. It’s obvious CBH didn’t believe in Bo for whatever reason. If he had Bo would still be here. So calling Bo a quitter and saying he didn’t give AU everything he had is just petty.
  8. Amen. I came on to see what was being said and just laughed. Man this board is just trash. So many trash fans here. These haters absolutely suck as fans. Never seen so many haters.
