This is too easy a question for guys who want to complain.  All their hypothetical coaches are definitely WAY better than Freeze.  Easy to say from their keyboard. 
This loss is atrocious, but Hugh didn’t bring a magic wand in with him.  I’m going to have confidence that coach is building an SEC-caliber roster and we’ll be better next year and excellent in year 3.  Maybe I’m naive but WAR EAGLE

If you have a cable or streaming provider that has the SEC network, you can watch the game on SEC+ thru the ESPN app.  I was able to get it up and running on my tv.  Didn’t know this until today, it’s working great and was pretty easy.  

Anybody trolled the Michigan State sites to see how they feel about this?  Couple things I’ve seen on Twitter indicate they are not thrilled to lose him?  ‘Tampering’ idea being thrown a little.  Sure looks like an incredible pick up for the good guys but I know we’ve got some feedback from other fan bases in the past that has turned out pretty accurate.  

So, now refs will screw Auburn in their national semifinal matchup with Purdue next year.  That’s how this works, right?

Someone remind this guy Ole Miss is 1-1 against the worst Auburn coach in our history and Lane had to onside kick to get that win.  And their permanent cross division rival is Vanderbilt.  And they are adorable.

Come to think of it, I agree.  It hasn’t been as bad as previous searches.  Pretty clean honestly.  I happen to be stuck in a geographical area swimming with Ole Miss fans and it’s been nasty.  They can not come to grips with a coach having the nerve to leave them at all, much less for a division rival.  I think they all know Lane is getting called up to the big leagues but can’t accept it.

Dang, the pessimism is pouring out now.  Whether we end up with Lane or Freeze, this thing hasn’t been pretty.  Sure am excited to see Lac leading our team this weekend though, WAR DAMN EAGLE

It’s Lane Train time.  He’s peaked in Oxford which means going 10-2 and winning a Cotton Bowl.  Sky is the limit at Auburn and I think he’s feeling it.

Going with your gut feeling, who do you all think we end up with?  My gut has been wrong the past 3 coaching hires but I feel like we end up with Freeze.  

Someone mentioned in the game thread last night that they were emotionally invested in the game for the first time in a while.  Exactly how I felt.  Heart was racing up and down, pulling for our Tigers hard on every snap.  I know we aren’t in the moral victory business but damn that was fun watching the game last night.  We are Auburn and we’ll get the right guy in place and we’ll be back sooner rather than later.

Bingo.  Think we all should’ve known this before he even coached the first spring game, that picture of him and his swamp donkeys spilling out of their leather pants in Jordan Hare is what got me.  Take it all back to Idaho.  

Maybe a dumb question but who decides who the interim HC will be?
