Could you even imagine the negative recruiting that Oats would be able to do if he balled out at UAT? We would never hear the end of it.

I was one that didn’t want to see Aden transfer. I wanted to see him develop into the stud that Bruce and coaches believed that he would be. If he goes to Alabama and succeeds, then that would definitely be a “slap in the face”.

I hope he turns out to be “elite” but I don’t consider the #8 QB in a class “elite”.

Point taken. But I’m also referencing the fact that he never had an elite QB at Ole Miss either. It’s a trend he needs to break.

Losing Longstreet to Mike Elko is a tough pill to swallow. Hugh Freeze continues to struggle to land an elite QB.

Wow! What a HUGE transfer addition. We may be seeing our women’s basketball program starting to turn the corner. Now we just a big WOman and we’re a contender.

Butch Thompson is not the problem! He’s one of the greatest things to ever happen to Auburn baseball. Get rid of him and we’ll go back to where we were before we got him. The pitching coach and NIL are the biggest issues. We desperately need Tim Hudson back. We also need more people with money ALL IN on this program.

Jennifer Rocha - OU Associate Head Coach. SEC experience as an assistant at Florida. Big-time pitching coach. Well-loved and respected. She would bring an enormous amount of positive energy and credibility to Auburn softball.

I wish we could’ve seen Samir Doughty get his redemption in the 2020 NCAA tournament, but unfortunately COVID hit. We can only hope that CBM gets his redemption next year.

I wouldn’t be opposed to hiring Steven Pearl if Bruce and the AD think he’s ready in the next 6-8 years. But he would be on a short leash IMO. If he starts tanking within the first 2 years, then I would look to the following options. 1. Bucky Ball - if he’s still available. Definitely don’t want to see him at UAT after Oates. 2. Todd Golden - He’s going to be (and already is) a very good young coach. 3. Will Wade - He’s a winner and an incredible recruiter. All jokes aside, what he did is now legal and the same arguments for him will be made that were used for Hugh Freeze.
