He posted other, more personal, reasons he wasn't doing it anymore and I tried to find it to link to answer some others but it appears to be gone.

I'm certainly not speaking for him but essentially the jock-strap who drunk posted was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

It was a good thing while it lasted. I sincerely will miss the coach's insight and commentary. There is a time and season for everything and my hope is another knowledgeable poster will take the up reigns.

  2. It is a shame that we appear to have lost a valuable feature on our forum. I really looked forward to the Coach's take after each AU football game. Coach if you read this I just want to thank you for all of your efforts posting the "Things I think I saw" threads. Please feel free to resume them in the future. There are many folks on here that enjoyed reading your insights. War Eagle!

  3. We dodged a bullet here. IF pickens can get in school at ugly he will be a handfull for kirby dumb to handle. Move on we have GREAT receivers WITHOUT attitudes already on the roster. Besides, this leaves a spot for someone who WANTS TO BE AN AUBURN TIGER!

  4. Stan White was talking yesterday on the broadcast about the 1993 undefeated team going to Nashville and only beating the Commodores 14-10. Obviously, Auburn played poorly yesterday but it happens  sometimes even to good teams. I say our players and coaches use this as a teaching moment and continue their march toward the prize that is now within their reach. WDE!

  5. Auburn played against an NFL caliber QB and very talented receivers last night. Yes, the defense was torched in the first half. However, the coaching staff made adjustments in the second half and the defense allowed the most potent offense in the SEC only 7 points the entire second half. Holding that Ole Miss offense to 29 points for the entire game was a win for the defense.

  6. Bird, I have been wondering all year why they don't let JFIII be the McCaleb/Grant playmaker on the jet sweep. Lashelee who called the plays last night, has got to do more to jet JFIII involved. He is too fast to sit the whole game except for 1 snap.
