  1. ^Even I found this one notable^, and many thanks for the overall post
  2. Trying to confirm/update my recollections, I found this ~yr old article concerning their plans: “The brand is giving back to Alabama In 2017, Conecuh Ridge Distillery announced they will be opening a $13 million tasting facility in Troy. The facility will include an artisan distillery, rack houses and a bottling hub, with an estimated 50 jobs created for the area. The site will give visitors an opportunity to engage directly with the brand on stops through southern Alabama." https://www.al.com/life/erry-2018/03/98c4117201/everything_you_should_know_abo.html, but I find no evidence of completion yet. Got a bottle on my shelf (gift from son in law) that I'm waiting to crack in fall weather.
  3. It was my understanding that Clyde May's was declared the state whiskey, but that was back when distillation was not yet legal. Haven't tried it yet, but I believe it's now built elsewhere?
  4. No worries, just busy as hell of late. Even this'll have to be a drive-by, but I'll get back and caught up when I can. Worry not.
  5. Not relevant, and not my Mothers favorite, but giddy w./ my re-found broadband connection:
  6. 'course, suspect I've dropped some rather obscure (to many),older references, on occasion Pretty good music, as well Many Thanks
  7. Damn! Finally got my broadband back up and what's the 1st thing I see? RIP Ed King. Too young.
  8. If I'd heard that, I didn't remember it. Many, many thanks.
  9. Alas, lot's failed attempts to capture Dune, as well, but many of Mr. Dick's stories seem to have adapted OK.
  10. Mr. Loofus, sir - So long a minute that I might accidentally step on one in your list before I find it there (apologies in advance)?
