The bookies jobs are to equalize the bets on both sides of the line.  That’s how Vegas makes money.  The impression based on the off season noise is that Auburn won’t be very good.  They are not analyzing anything but the perception.

Yes, the line will change with the money.

  2. Not meaning to be nasty, just trying to make a point to those who still think Bo was bad at Auburn. Look at his freshman and sophomore year statistics. I’m too lazy to do it myself right now, but his numbers are not bad at all. As a matter of fact, they’re actually pretty good. Then consider he had a below average SEC offensive line, average to below average wide receivers, below average coaching at best, then his numbers are borderline great.

Then he goes to Oregon, with better all of the above and an easier schedule than the SEC and he becomes the overall 12th player picked in the draft

Keep in mind it was a quarterback talent heavy draft… More-so than any other time in the past couple decades. I just tell you that to say, any year other than this one, Bo would’ve been a top five pick. Just so many talented QB’s in this years draft.

Thank you Sir, I am astounded at the accuracy of your review on my post.

The thought that Bo could have hit these numbers at Auburn if he just had a bit more of the crowd behind him, with a lil better offense and OC is silly. It completely sidesteps the difference of overall talent between the conferences.

For example, this past Auburn team that everyone calls so devoid of talent just had more players go to the NFL than everyone but 2 teams in the PAC-12.

Great response! You got me, way to go.

He was a first round reach by an eccentric HC. He won't be around in the NFL long and that's ok too. He can be a bad teammate and a decent QB and still not be an NFL QB.

Was it eccentric Heisman voters, that voted him number three in the Heisman race?

Lol, he beat them by himself huh? What were his stats that game?

Let me help you. Here’s an example of a response that could actually help you gain some respect:

Example: Time to eat a little crow, I was wrong about Bo. Turns out he finished number three in the Heisman Trophy voting and was drafted number one as the 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. I didn’t think it would be possible, but again, I was mistaken.

Further example: just like I was wrong about the talents of other Auburn quarterbacks that I thought were better than they turned out… Jeremy Johnson, Keihl Frazier, T.J. Finley, Robbie Ashford and others. I want you guys to understand, I’m now also admitting I was so wrong about the Allen Greene and Brian Harsin hires as well. Looks like I was also wrong about Deion Sanders… again time for me to eat some crow, sorry guys, my bad!

    Very respectfully with apologies,

    Cole

Hopefully, you can meditate on things like this and change for the better. I hope this helps.

According to an ESPN report Sunday by Jeff Passan, blame for the debacle has been leveled at supplier Nike.

Player complaints about see-through pants that allow undergarments and body parts to be visible beneath the garb, manufactured by Fanatics, will also be addressed.

The outlet cited a memo sent to players by the Major League Baseball Players Association that detailed the planned changes will include larger letters on the backs of the jerseys, fixing mismatched gray tops and bottoms and addressing Nike jerseys’ tendency to collect sweat.

6th is very good. 5 full seasons, though.

5 seasons but I give him credit for starting as a freshman and beating the turds. As an 18 years old, he beat the best coach in the history of college football who is a defensive coach.

With the "NEW" standard of revisionist history when it comes to College Football accolades and awards, it's now time to officially celebrate the 1983, 1993 and 2004 National Championships! Put it on the stadium and let those players and coaches finally celebrate their championships!

    War Eagle!

I couldn’t agree more and there are a few other years that could be added as well!

You could maybe just try to read. I'm talking about the privilege he gets on this board. I'm not you, how could I speak on his privilege at places I don't know anything about?

As far as on this board he's the most privileged and pampered player to ever be discussed on here. You guys hate other players that literally gave their all to Auburn just because they had the audacity to be QBs when Bo was here. Then you hated the guy that had to replace him.

And now he's a martyr poor him as if people really attacked him. Saying he needs to make better decisions became attacks. He was treated so bad. While other guys were talked about like dogs.

Meanwhile on this forum threads were deleted, locked, hidden, for the slightest criticism of Bo. Meanwhile other guys could be attacked personally and not even confirmed if rumors were even true.

Until you change, you will always be miserable. Until you open your mind, you will always be full of hate and it’s really sad.

Man it's all about perspectives huh? I'm not going to rain on the parade. I wish all players received this type of grace though.... Some players are more privileged than others

I see, so privilege made him number three in the Heisman Trophy voting, the number two all-time passing yards leader in NCAA history and the overall number 12 pick in the NFL draft. It was all privilege.

I'm happy for Bo.  What a great kid.  And loved the fact that alot of his film they showed was in an AU uniform.

    All that said though:

Bo struggled against SEC caliber defenses and yes much of that was bc he played behind a piss poor Oline, but he also missed a whole bunch of wide open receivers for TD's that I remember watching.

He went from a league with the very best defenses week in and week out, to a league that basically plays NO DEFENSE.

So to sum it up:  I hope Bo balls out in the NFL, but he's going to have to prove it to me against NFL defenses.

It’s amazing how some people on social media know more about an NFL ready quarterback than people like Bill Belichick and the entire Denver Broncos coaching stuff.

I've always believed that well coached teams win the games they are supposed to win. That is one thing I respect about Roy Williams. I don't think he lost but one first round game his entire career, and never to a much lower seed.

It’s been a few years or maybe I should say a few decades, but I can remember reading about Pittsburgh Steeler coach, Chuck Knoll during his playoff and Super Bowl runs. His record against teams .500 or below was something like 93-1. Again, this was in his heyday, but I mean the Guy just didn’t lose any games, he was supposed to win.

  13. I just didn’t think this could happen to a Bruce Pearl coached team. Time zone? Jet lag? Over confidence? Over celebrating the SEC championship? Just can’t believe Bruce couldn’t rally the troops and pull this one out.

I guess it is, what it is. Let’s go Auburn baseball!

And you have always been classless but even you should be ashamed to try to down someone's intellect and you literally just misused your own attempt of slang. There's not a person on this board that has ever read a post from you and thought this person is intelligent. You shouldn't ever try to insult a person's intelligence.....You rarely even understand articles that you yourself reference.

Did you get a chance to read the more bad news for Deion?

Look. I get it. We’ve beaten three bad teams. These are teams Auburn SHOULD win. But three weeks in a row, the media narrative has either been “Auburn better watch out for *opponent,*” or “Auburn is going to lose to *opponent.*”

After all three games, the media narrative wasn’t about how much Auburn has looked better. It’s been about how much the other team was lousy.

Which is it media folks? Are we facing dangerous opponents that might beat us? Or are we facing awful teams that make us winning not a story?

I’m just so sick of the inconsistent reporting in the sports media.

It’s not so much inconsistent reporting, it’s anti-Auburn reporting. We’re constantly and continually voted one of the more conservative schools in the country, from a conservative state so the media hates us! BSPN is owned by Disney, need I say more?

You are correct, we were 3 to 4 point underdogs against Arkansas and we beat the Ba-Jesus out of them. So they’re not about to give us any credit, they’re going to blame it on Arkansas. All we have left is to upset the turds and then they’ll make excuses as to why it happened.

Yes cars were towed and they paid a couple of hundred dollars to get their cars....if 8 guys had their cars towed what do you think that means since we are talking thinking. Also are you saying you weren't trying to exaggerate that story? And the fact that you actually think homes is what's being said is absolutely hilarious 😂

Silly of me to try to break it down and explain it to you, and expect you to have the intellect to understand. Deion could grab an automatic machine gun and gun down babies, and you would make excuses for him. And of course, we all know why.

Oh and guess where they were getting the tickets?? Parking in the parking lots of their practice fields while traveling! This should really be felonies! Also if you read the article ONE guy had 2,000 dollars worth of tickets the other players hard to play a couple of hundred......but I agree thousands and thousands sound much better 😂😂😂😂

The outlet said at least eight players had their cars towed, besides the car boots. Yes, one player owes over $2000 in fines. Then add in the fines of eight cars being towed, the car boots, etc. and it’s thousands and thousands of dollars. Do the math homes.
