I feel the oline is our biggest weakness that hasn’t been addressed in new team additions. Still rather invest in an oline than a portal QB if I had to choose one position.
With the offer numbers from both schools for RW that I have heard, the REC has a lot of catching up to do... A LOT of catching up to do. Yes, I know they have it and will likely use it.
I am not saying AU doesn't have a chance, but I from what I have been hearing it's all bama at the moment. Money talks though. Kid is amazing and worth every penny wherever he goes and I hope that is AU. He will be fun to watch on Saturdays either way.
Don’t forget, bama played their 2nd and 3rd string QBs against South Florida and only won 17-3. I think if the committee does some deep non-bias comparison , the SEC won’t be represented in the playoff this year.
What the money guys are going to have to pay to get the Freeze 5 to the Plains, what’s another mil and a half to ensure they have someone who can consistently throw them a decent ball?
I will say the more physical team is winning. Impressed with their physically on defense. I think Aston needs more touches due to his burst after his initial read.
