Thank god the thoughts of 2 or 3 isn’t what the vast majority of our fanbase believes.
What a sad life to live.

1 & 1/2 of those seasons are on Harsin.
My favorite thing you do here is act like Harsin’s been here for a season and a half. Literally got here December 24th, 2020. Been here for a year and a month.
Acting like he could fix Gus’ class of misfits in the 2021 class is just preposterous.

We have only 3 targets giving us a look.
You don’t know that at all.
Funniest part about your post is that you cite stuff from our recruiting people who you claim know nothing. Oxymoron, no?

Can we not allow this thread to also be a “Was Bo this or was he this?” He’s gone. Move on.

So will the recruiting forum also be taking after the football forum in complete doom and gloom?

And so when we don't get them, is it not disappointing? Yes, it is. We are disappointed. We missed
Where did I say I wasn’t disappointed?

Why are we even recruiting these guys if we had no chance? Can someone please tell Harsin this so we can shift resources to guys we might have a shot with?
You recruit them because you do have a chance. We had a chance and the LSU got him on for a visit. Sucks but this literally happens every single year. It’s recruiting. Hard to pull a hometown kid but you have to try.

Every kid that doesn't come here has an excuse
Wait wait wait, so you’re telling me an in-state kid chose his state school who regularly puts out ELITE talent at the WR position over a school 5+ hours away who hasn’t had a first round WR drafted this millennium??? I am SHOCKED.

A top 8 basically three weeks before signing day seems a bit excessive but I respect his hustle

Just not sure this thing is over with. If he really wanted to be at USC he would’ve already committed to them.

Completely agree. To add to your point, it is escape from real life. Why be negative about something likes sports teams when there is so much other negativity in today’s world
You said it with less words my friend

What I do know is that all of you folks who are in such a hurry to call BS every time a positive possibility doesn't pan out for us need to chill the hell out. Guess what? Bob Stoops really did almost coach here. We really did have a shot at Mario Cristobal, too. And whether or not the Williams kid plays here, we were very much in it til the end. Just because it didn't happen doesn't mean most of what was said wasn't true. You're never going to see direct quotes about any of this stuff that happens. Look at us hiring Bryan Harsin. Nobody knew a damned thing about it until it became a reality and you've still never seen a shred of evidence about how those conversations went down. So just chill the hell out, cross your fingers for good news, and don't try to act some kind of way no matter what happens. We shoot out shots. Some go in, some don't.Another rant feel free not to read:
Had my end of year evaluation last Thursday at my job and one of my weaknesses was I almost always choose pessimism because I don’t want to get disappointed. I don’t do this with Auburn because what good does it do me? Auburn doesn’t pay my bills, it doesn’t drastically change my life if we don’t sign Caleb Williams or if we lose in basketball. I choose to be positive about Auburn because what good does it do to not? I want to *ENJOY* Auburn and everything it has to offer. I don’t want to be pessimistic about it because pessimism leads to me just hating Auburn.

Respectfully, I disagree. As long as we're unique in having to play them we have the toughest schedule in the country each year.

I think he’s too soft, tbh. Especially being coached by Harsin.

Dude is a big OL target for us. He'll be on campus Jan 18-19th. Based on what he's saying, he'll player either guard or center at his next stop. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
apologies if this has already been posted.
I *think* he’s going to be at Cornell in the spring and won’t be on his campus of choice til the summer. Not positive though.

USCw was 4-8 this year in a weaker league. Is their roster really in better shape than ours? I know that he’s familiar with Riley but is USCw really a better short term situation?
Bunch of folks are trying to talk themselves out of CW by trying to convince themselves that it’s 2004 and USC is still good
