I'm not a huge fan of the idea that we might leave a kid out in the cold after he has been committed to us for months, potentially in exchange for guys who showed little interest until we got a new coach who they were more excited about. Seems more like the kind of move you could expect from another school in the state. In TT's article he seems genuinely excited for the opportunity to be at Auburn, which is lacking among so many kids these days who make a "business decision".

I hear Chris kinda shuns the attention, so scouts might not have been paying that much attention to him since he didn't really play the recruiting game, but with him coming out of nowhere and Shaq Quarterman shaping up to be one of the top Junior recruits, i think he will get a lot more attention and move up the rankings a good bit. Of course that will only happen if people are brave enough to throw at him, which might not be the case

his measurable from camping would have put him in solid company among the CBs at this years combine. 37.5 on the vertical jump, with a 4.43 40. Kid seems like he has crazy potential, and apparently he just doesn't really like being recruited, which explains why he is so unheralded
