Pearl has weaknesses that blueblood coaches tend to minimize. He gets a lot out of less talent than others, but getting over the hump in terms of tourney play is going to continue to be a challenge because of discipline... because that's when it's needed the most. 

Idk that discipline will work for CBM regardless. This was known when we got him. From things I've heard, and you can take it with a grain of salt idc, don't expect him to have learned anything from his ejection fiasco in the tourney either.

Idk if there has ever been a player where "ourstanding athlete" has been more overstated. You would think he runs a 4.25 and scores a TD every time he touches the ball. It's comical.

So our coaching staff is this horrible at evaluating pitching prospects? You literally could close your eyes and randomly pick some dudes & get a staff this good.

Would have been a nice pickup, but I don't think Henderson is a world beater at all. Definitely not one so good that he's worth drama or games. There's definitely better out there, but whether we have a shot at those, who knows. Funny how I care zero about recruiting now. It's all a joke.

Hate to see him go. It's been obvious for a very long time that his process does not work - fill your team with the best recruits you can that will leave in a year or two. Rinse and repeat. It does not work, yet he does it over and over.
