  1. There has been quite a few doubters about Brian Battie from a few people but I thought he was one bright spot in the TAMU game. He lead the team in YPR (7.4), excluding Sean Jackson’s one rush, and YPC (11.5). I think if the coaches do decide sometime this year to go with Robbie, he could be a great back in the Z/R and short passing game. Perhaps a Shaun Shivers type, but more elusive and less physical. I hate it that Alston is injured, but I’m also confident in Hunter, Cobb, and Battie.
  2. I think people are getting 5 from 3 fumbles + 1 int + 1 turnover on downs
  3. Reminds me a little bit of Duke Williams. Big body, does a good job of catching with his hands and not his body, and uses his size to shield defenders from the ball.
  4. TD or Big Kat has to step up. That’s the one key missing piece to our defense is a consistent pass rush from the DE/Buck.
  5. 38 Daniel Carlson K 6-4 223 Sr. (+5) Wow, we might have the best, and biggest kicker in the country 21 Kerryon Johnson RB 6-0 212 Jr. (+8) Great
  6. Can a player like Wiley go pro after this season?
  7. And the 2nd was a 4th down pass into the endzone
  8. Sean White has attempted more passes on 3rd down than any other QB in the SEC and the second fewest pass attempts on 1st down than any starting QB in the SEC. This must change for White to reach his full potential. Yikes. Looks like an easy defensive game plan for the opposition.
  9. I feel like I'm going to wake up and it's just before kick off and I'll jump on this board and tell everyone the craziest dream I had.
  10. Agreed, I don't think they can put JFIII out there this early but I also don't see JJ coming out of the game mistake free. I just hope whoever starts can get the W and build on that confidence.
  11. I actually like it. It's like a badge for tough guys/ big hitters. You don't wear a neck brace unless you plan on putting someone of their rear end. But I agree it does make you look a little stiff.
  12. I also believe one thing that will make him a valuable back is that he played FB last year and should have a leg up on pass protection over the other RBs.
  13. Or maybe Jeremy is the clear starter and he wanted to figure out who the 2nd stringer was
