  1. sorry if this has already been brought up or if I'm posting this in the wrong place.  I feel like Stidham being able to come in for bowl practice is huge for us vs. OU.  He's the closet thing we have a QB that can do the things Mayfield can do.  that will be huge for the defense in preparation.  Also, he faced them last year.  He can give insight on what he saw vs them and what we can expect.  Baylor scored 34 on them last year.  34 points would be a win with our defense playing.

  2. he switched his UV to an OV.

Former Baylor quarterback Jarrett Stidham visited Auburn on Tuesday, took in basketball game and even reportedly extended his stay.

The transfer quarterback seemed to enjoy his visit, but according to 247Sports’ Keith Niebuhr, who cites sources, there may be one key for Auburn in landing Stidham: offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.

According to Niebuhr, the former 5-star recruit wants to play for Lashlee, but has expressed concern about the offensive coordinator leaving Auburn. The two are very close and have talked daily for “some time,” according to the report.

Two things stick out the Stidham about Lashlee: The way he worked with former Tigers quarterback Nick Marshall, and also Sean White’s production this season.

Stidham’s visit was reportedly switched from an unofficial to official visit, and he feels that he could be the missing piece in Auburn, according to Niebuhr.

The grad transfer quarterback has not visited Texas A&M.

This is only KB's second year as an OC. I doubt most quality programs thnk he has enough experience yet. I know what Bird has posted but my bigger concern is Art finding a job & KB following him.

Im sure KB will have no issues running the offense.  Correct me if im wrong here but isn't this Sterlin Gilbert's first year calling plays at Texas?  he was the QB coach/Co OC at Tulsa but I don't think he was calling the plays.

Art Briles coaching again was discussed yesterday on XM radio.  they don't think any major program would pick him up this year.  he will have to go the Petrino route and coach at a smaller school first.  if I was KB, I would take the OC job at AU before I would follow my dad to a small school and still be under his shadow trying to make a name for myself.  if that were the case, would JS follow Briles to a smaller school knowing he might only be there a year or two?
