  1. Got a couple additional things that could swing things around. First, the game is at 11am, and no one likes playing at 11am...Second, Arkansas lost a very close one last week. This could either fire them up to get a big win at home, or they could be demoralized and come out flat. One thing I think will happen is that Auburn will come out flat, because you mix 11am and away game and thats the typical response...

Today was the first game this season that I thought Bo locked on his receiver right when the play was called instead of doing his progressions...also, WHY didn't we run the 2 point play on 4th down play at PSU last week?????? We had the receivers overloaded and they were all open...

It wouldn't matter if Nix was qb because he can't find the open man...he's a train wreck with no poise. He's not an SEC level qb, maybe not an FCS level qb...

  3. The defense at least adjusted and improved significantly in the second half. I suppose you could say the same for CBH being willing to put in Finley. But this looked like a badly coached high school football team for at least 3 quarters. Did they even practice this week? Just scary because it reminded me of the CGM out of conference games where would look like we just woke up and goof around for 3 quarters. I thought that was gone with CBH, you know, not taking elevators and working hard for consistency...This team is incredibly inconsistent (not playing to their potential for 75% of plays).

  4. Nix has been nothing but terrible. The guy has no poise, and his feet are way too nervous. He won't settle down and make clean throws and he's too short to see over the line when things break down (unlike Finely). Not sure how he can be anywhere close to 6'3". I saw him last year at Tiger walk and he looked my height (6'). Either way, Nix just can't do it. Its sad that we have no qb's at Auburn. Obviously you can't win without a qb, and we aren't winning with Bo. I have a feeling Finely won't be a lot better in Baton Rouge, but imo he deserves the shot, as at least he showed poise and playmaking ability....even if we still overthrew several open receivers....

How are we so bad at throwing beyond 15 yards? I seriously can't believe how bad it is...

As big as he is I've been under the impression that Finely doesn't really like to stick it up in there on a run. I don't know where I got that impression. Could be wrong. But that was a long two yards. A sneak would be tough.

Ya you're right, after rewatching it, seems I forgot it was 2.5 yards out. The play call wasn't a good one with our QB situation, as he obviously can't scan the field well. Looks like they were going for PI more than anything, but Bo's throw was so awful that wasn't even in play....Robertson was going to be open in the back of the endzone.
