In the NET rankings, Ole Miss is 61. I think they were about the same when we played. That would only be a Quad 1 win if we played them at their place. To be a Quad 1 win at home they have to be ranked 30th or higher.

Oh Ok. I did not realize they considered Q1 wins in the NET rankings as well. Thank you for clearing that up for me.

All overreactions aside, we have zero Quad 1 wins in three tries this season, and Pearl was obviously on a freaking mission to win all three.

We just lost two in a row.

He has failed in getting us the most important aspect in the game: perimeter shooters.

We'll have a decent season, then may struggle to keep our most important players from transferring.

I’m confused. I thought Old Piss was a Quad 1 win. warrennolan.com has us with one quad 1 win in the RPI and now they are ranked ahead of us (15 vs. 18)

Prayers for Kristi and for you and your boys.  How old are your sons? Prayers for wisdom for her caregivers, comfort and peace for you all.  🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

They are 7 and 5, and they love Aubie

  4. Good morning, everyone, and War Eagle. Great win last night! I apologize if this is not the best place to post this but I didn’t know. I am writing to ask for prayers this morning for my ex-wife, Kristi (Tennessee fan 🙄)and our two wonderful boys (they lean more towards Auburn). She is in the hospital recovering from some sort of septic reaction. She has been admitted since Friday, and last night, her situation took a turn for the worse. Her condition is rather dire right now. I don’t post often on here but I do know that prayer requests are sometimes submitted. I appreciate it very much and let’s get Samford next weekend. Thank you and WDE

  5. Our ladies opened the season with a scoreless draw to Samford tonight (on the verge of being a top-25 team). Ball movement was great in the first half. We just couldn’t get the ball in the net. I think the team will rebound from last year’s disappointing season (6-6-6 record). Lots of good young talent to be excited about

I expect them not to wear half pants in games.      Could be regular size blue pants tho.   I kind of hope not.   I'm not a fan of matching pants and jerseys.  Makes players look like 1975 Elvis.

Come on! If it worked for the 1975 Cleveland Indians, it would certainly work for us 😂

  7. I believe with this setup, if they do the wrap around seeding (or snake seeding as I have heard it before), they put the best #2 seed in the bracket with the worst #1 seed, meaning we were the last team out on the #1 line. I like our chances in Clemson; not so sure about Okie. They are on a run similar to UCONN women’s hoops from about 10 years ago right now. I think their record since the start of ‘21 is something like 166-8. Unfathomable! And to think they will be conference foes in ‘25. We gotta step up our game.

  8. So, pardon my confusion. Are we still in contention for a top 4 seed? I thought it was the top 2 teams in each division, regardless of record. If Auburn and aTm each finish with 12 losses, despite us having 1 less victory because of the rainout, would we finish 2nd in west, since we took 2 of 3 in College Station?

  9. I had a brief conversation with a relative of Kentucky transfer Treasure Hunt today. She played an integral part of the Wildcats SEC Tournament Championship this season. I asked if she had chosen her new school yet and she said she is still looking, but Auburn is definitely in the conversation. She said Treasure nearly chose Auburn over Kentucky the first time. She is also looking at UCF and Arizona State. I told her I thought Coach Walker was starting to build some momentum with the big wins over Tennessee and Georgia last year, not to mention a stellar staff that is starting to come together, and she agreed. I said it would be pretty exciting if she chose Auburn, and with the distance between here and Auburn compared to the other schools, she made me think it would be as well.
