  1. Well we signed just two high school linemen for our position group of greatest need
  2. Is the the only offensive lineman we are recruiting? Its what it feels like.
  3. If Cadillac goes 3-1 and finishes with a top 25 recruiting class why wouldn't he get a second year? Auburn alumn with NFL connections? I want to see how this plays out. He might be exactly who we have needed.
  4. To be fair the offensive line couldnt stop a moped
  5. 28-0 Auburn. Harsin Leaves TJ in to get into and stay in rhythm. Ashford is used for 4th and Goal situations and the defense finally takes the gloves off forcing turnovers.
  6. I'll settle for 3* at this point. I really hope Harsin is the guy. I do. I don't waan't us to look back and miss the "Offensive Genius" days.
  7. Then Harsin might want to start recruiting. He only signed 18 out of a possible 24 scholarships last cycle.
  8. It all comes down to "If Harsin can recruit" and rebuild the program after the C-USA talent Malzahn left us with.
  9. Correct. I was referencing Malzahns offensive talent in my statement. We put far more defensive players into the League than offense. His development of any position other than running back was just terrible.
  10. I would rather have a #20 recruiting ranking and develop the players than a top 10 under Malzahn and those players not get any better over the next 3-4 years than the day they finished high school. My complaint with Harsin was only signing one offensive lineman, two D lineman, and two linebackers. I have no doubt his ability to develop players but he does need players to coach.
  11. I wonder why he didn't declare for the Draft? It obviously, wasn't to finish his career out at Auburn. Yes. Bo would have completed 71% of his passes this year if it wasn't for the receivers and harsin would have probably gone 11-1 2015 Gus went 6-6 2-6 in the SEC and that included three cupcake games. Back to remedial math and history for you. You'll learn that 3-5 is better than 2-6.
  12. So that is a fact. Bo Nix has passed for the most yards of any Auburn QB. However, he isn't getting drafted after three years. How does his best season compare to other QBs? Look, I am not saying Nix is bad. He likely would have won the Heisman is anyone other than Gusx coached him. His ceiling his tremendous IMO, but he was going no where with Gus. Gus left poor receivers and an o-line. Nix still had his best season under Harsin. Also, if you are crediting Gus, Bo completed no better than 59% of his passes under Gus. Thats OK. No great or amazing, not bad, just ok. So yes Nix threw for more yards than any Auburn QB in school history, but has a lot of incomplete passes. A percentage that will not get him to the NFL. Bo's stat is quantity over quality. So NO Gus cannot develop a QB.
