Loved reliving this. I wish we there was a way we could have Courtney Taylor on the roster every year. So crucial to that team but often overshadowed for obvious reasons by Jason, Carnell, and Ronnie on offense. Also, I miss the nastiness of that defense! Good walk down memory lane.

Why not let Robby be the de facto wildcat QB. He is more of a threat to pass than an RB but has the same skill set. Put him in when we need to get 2-4 yards if that is working. Otherwise we need Thorne to settle in and cut it loose without worrying about coming in on 3rd down and long on every 4th or 5th possession. I hope we run for 100 yards and pass for 375 this weekend.

I hope we save that formation for when we need it all 4th quarter in a close UGA game for the upset

All this N Alabama love isaking me homesick. I miss Dales for the ambiance and the french onion soup, George's has the best steaks hidden in a non descrpt cinder block building, and Ricatons for the amazing bread and pasta. Plus I can't find any decent fried chicken in Knoxville-so Newberns is a must when we get back.

Agreed. But serious question- do you think we have our 22 starter on campus already? Even with a some miracle OL transfers-I'm not sold on Finley and CBH clearly isn't sold on DD. Don't you think an upgrade at QB is necessary despite however well we do getting OL transfers

Bump. I'm really, really hoping for a home run QB transfer or 2 to appear after bowl season. I was really excited to land TJ last spring, but at 0-3 as a starter-he just doesn't seem to be the answer. The meltdown threads are white hit in the football forum discussing why DD isn't getting a shot. So, it seems like he isn't the answer for coach Harsin either. The freshman Geriner needs some time to acclimate to the SeC, unless he is really special. Fingers and toes crossed we catch a break here. It should be a wide open QB1 at Auburn for anyone interested.

Thank God for Bruce and basketball. I am going to have to take a big step back in expectations for AU football. This level of emotional investment to be JABA'd is not healthy for this long. Beat LSU!
