Not sure this is an overreaction, but if we don't get more pressure on the opposing quarterback we might not win but 1-2 more the rest of the season (Vandy / NMST). The back end of the D looks really good, but they can't cover for 5-7 seconds against SEC offenses.

Saban went 6-6 in his 1st season. He spent significantly more effort recruiting that year than worrying about his subpar talent level at the time. Portal helps some but recruiting is the key. These guys are not going to develop enough. Harsin left the cupboard bare.
Thorne - Beat out at Michigan State
Ashford - Would never have seen the field at Oregon
