I don’t think it’s as much of being impatient but it’s more about being confused as to the fact that assistant’s are being hired and announced and not coordinators.

Also, there is a time urgency in play like it or not with regards to recruiting. Recruiting is still based on relationships.  So the longer we don’t have the coaching staff in place the more detrimental it is to landing recruits.

Its not like we dont have guys out recruiting. If you dont have coaching spots filled, off the field guys get on the road. Id take Trovon recruiting over most on the field coaches.

Salute to Owen. With the right team I can see him having a career like Josh Bynes

Bynes is a more cerebral player. Pappoe is more of a physical player (hence his injuries). Love watching both of them.

Completely understand - I was banking on his relationship with Hugh Freeze being the difference. I was hoping Freeze would be the only one to pull him out of retirement, and Hugh could prove his recruiting prowess right off the bat. It would’ve been a big feather in our cap over UGA, and maybe would’ve opened the door for getting some of the UGA lineman to hit the portal. But… oh well, moving on.

If Im able to retire at like 55 and live my days comfortably with my family around, nobody could talk me into that.

As we all know as time pass things tend to dissolve. If he wins games this will be ancient history. If he doesn’t this will be revisited

Agreed but they also have to give him what he needs to be successful and I’m not sure they are going to.

As was said days ago - he’s a prideful, maybe even self righteous guy.  Legally formidable. Even if it was about $50k, he wouldn’t do a deal.  If he negotiates it implies mutual fault, which I don’t think he believes, plus hurts his job opportunities down the road. My instinct is he’ll burn the place to ground before admitting/giving a inch.

    As he should.

I LOVE Auburn but these money folks are out of touch.
