Next year

Recommended Posts

Let's face it 2010 has been a year for the ages for we Auburn Tigers. I pray we close the deal. Still in the back of my mind I have a question. No matter what the outcome of 2010 what about 2011? Will Cam come back for his senior season? You know he will be the number one draft choice. I think this young man has real character, and he is in it for more than just the money, but wow can you imagine the carrot they are gonna dangle in his face??????

Can we please let this go.  I'm not one for harping on "let's focus on this week" because we're fans and we are allowed to look ahead but can we hold off on looking to next year until at least after the bowl game?

Cam? The number one draft choice? After this year?

How about not. Cams a great player, but just like Tim Tebow, Newton doesn't play in a pro style offense which will raise questions about his great abilities in college transfering over to the NFL. I think the chances of Newton going pro after this season are very slim.

Unless someone takes a huge chance on Cam in an early round of the draft, he'll be back next year.  As good as he is, he still needs to improve in some areas of his passing game, and as pass heavy as the NFL is, I have a hard time believing someone would take that chance on drafting him high this year.  Maybe after next year, but not this one.

::also crosses fingers that somehow Fairley sticks around::
