AUFan1 0
Mel Kiper added Fairley to his big board at #8 http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft2011/insider/news/story?id=5732885&action=login&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fnfl%2fdraft2011%2finsider%2fnews%2fstory%3fid%3d5732885
Weegle777 63
If there are millions of dollars at stake and he makes it through the season healthy and uninjured, I would not fault Nick one bit for leaving. What if he stays and has a career ending injury next season? Whitaker (sp) is still here, remember that.
87aubie 0
As AU continues to get highly talented players, the early departure for the NFL discussions will only increase. Get used to it I'm afraid.
AUSWEN 0
Oh yeah Nick should definitely go if he has the opportunity. The only way he shouldn't is if the lock-out happens, which I don't really even understand (since I don't give a rat's behind about the NFL), but some people seem to think it's a sure thing. I'll be happy for him that he made it and made us proud while he was here

waregl87 0
Barring any kind of lockout next year, Fairley is gone. Plain and simple. Enjoy him while you can.
AuburnTiger10 0
These guys aren't going to know anything about the lockout when the date to declare comes up. People are making a much bigger deal about it than needs to be made. Fairley should and will leave early.

WarDamn2010 177
He should just get insurance on himself for next year and hand around.
storyofmylife182 0
I know this is part of the process with great players, but I'd love to seem him stick around another year.. That's just me though.
3rdgen 2
Anybody who is a first round pick I could not honestly tell them to stay around. Injury is to great a risk even with an insurance policy. Go take the money just don't squander it first round especially top 10 draft pick money is generational changing money.
