AuburnSpider 2
Look for Masola to be as slippery as cooking grease. Cam and Wes win this one late as well. I'll take a 1 point victory on the road.

aubill 0
Few things different no Cobb,,,,no big 6-5 reciever....Masoli not the passer Hartline is better runner...lets call Bolden equal with ky running back we hurt....Auburn has been good against big running backs....If they had Mcluster I'd be more worried Auburn 35 -

He's also got 17 grabs and is second in receiving. We just need to do the following: (1) don't give up 150+ rushing, (2) don't turn the ball over, and (3) execute on offense and we should win! WDE!!! dbear 0
today is the day we do as we do and "do what we do". So now is the time to "getter done" WDE (and I'm glad to say we're on our way to take care of things and win the day)
Warnugget 127
Read the injury report thread if you haven't already. It made me feel much better about us winning by 2+scores. First, I really don't see them stopping Mr Newton. Second, Fairly vs 3 freshman linemen. Neither one of those is fair, but they're on our team
BeatBama 0
This game reminds me of the type of games when Auburn would be a huge underdog and play Florida. Ole Miss has nothing but motivation going for them in this game. They have the #1 BCS team at home. Houston Nutt loves to beat Auburn when he's not supposed to. Masoli and their offense will have a big day against our weak and depleted defense. Penalties will also come into play. I predict this game will come down to the Defense making a big play or two and the offense driving down the field and scoring TDs and not FGs. BeatBama 0
Pardon me, I should've stated "If" the defense could make a big stop or turnover and "if" the offense could score TD's instead of FG attempts. I see penalties being a big part of this game. How many times has Auburn scored a TD when having a penalty on the drive? Seems like penalties always lead to a punt or FG. I was being sarcastic about your last sentence because pretty much every game against good competition this season has come down to the defense making a crucial stop in the 4th quarter. I guess my point was that your prediction was that this game will be like all the others so far this season. In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised in the least if your prediction comes true. Conversely, I wouldn't be that surprised if we blew them out either. I've been waiting all year for a dominant performance for all four quarter from this team. We were close last week, and I do think this team is getting better every week (which is, of course, what you want to see).
around4ever 4,136
I must be missing something. I don't see this one being that close. Yeah, it's on the road, UofM has something cooked up for alternate uniforms, they have the motivation of beating a #1. But in the end, you have got to have talent. I don't see enough there. 2TDs+

I don't think the strong d line play will be as effective against masoli. I've heard that he is just as accurate if not more accurate while scrambling. But then I imagine we will score 50+, so who knows.

They are going to be pumped up and so will the fans. Taylojo, I see your concerns, and in my opion are legit, but a one dimensional offense will not win you a game, they can't expect to roll out and pass it on every play, Masoli isn't that good. They will not be able to run it up the middle against the D. The way I look at this game is that AU has faced better offenses and defenses this year, and all the things Ole Miss are doing for the game can only get them so far, lets say, a first quarter lead. AU has better athletes, coaches, and also have alot more on the line, oh and don't forget about that #2 guy. The staff will have the boys ready to go, and damnit, Auburn will win this game. No doubt. aupops2 7
Been listening to Tony Barnhardt and Doug Matthews this morning (don't know why, guess I love torture), but Tony says we will win an "ugly" game, to which I agree. Both also said that the two best teams, without a doubt, are Oregon and (I can't even say it!!).
