While a lot of you guys are ready to get out the torches and pitchforks and storm the ESPN compound over the perceived slighting of AU in ESPN's program, I am actually more inclined to send them a letter thanking them for many of their boneheaded opinions.  Remember that we are relying on a lot of young guys this year and while I'm sure the coaches are doing their best to keep these guys grounded they are still 18-21 year old kids and when you start hearing that you're the best in the country and no one can stop you, it is very easy to start believing the hype.  Just ask Bama who thought they could just walk out on the field for S Carolina and demolish them.

There is nothing that will work better to keep our boys grounded and hungry than to have the media itself providing the locker room material.

I agree, while having that #1 beside your name is something I loved, the only time it matters is after the season. Just get us in the NCG and we'll settle it on the field.

I agree as well. Having something to work for always brings out the best in our players. However, with this team the goal is still the same regardless. I really BELIEVE they have their sights set high, really high. So, it only goes to show "For as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Proverbs 23:7
