Oregon's offense is ranked #1 and Auburn's is #2 in total offensive yardage.

So I did a comparrison.

Oregon-

New Mexico 119

Tennessee  93

Portland State - NA (not FBS)

Arizona State 54

Stanford 40

Washington State  116

UCLA  91

USC 79

If you average out the defenses (7 games) the defenses they have faced average 85th for Points against

Auburn-

Ark State  91

MSU 13

Clem 18

USC  26

UL Monroe 86

Ky 94

Ark  46

LSU 10

Miss 107

The average of our opponents defense (9) is 55th.  (I am willing to say since OU gets to drop Portland we should be able to drop UL Monroe, this would give us an average of 50th)

To say that Oregon has won against lesser competition is an understatement.

And they will still score 30-50 on anybody they play...

Also- the schedule left

Oregon-

Washington 106

California  48

Arizona 7

Oregon State 75

Auburn -

UT Chatt - NA (not FBS)

Georgia  39

Alabama  2

Total current and future  Oregon  75th (Average)     Auburn 48th (Average)

I know these numbers will change by the end, but this is a good snap shot as to the defenses we face.

I hate to keep harping on this one point, but if you just take the top 5 defenses from each team you get-

Auburn an average of 14th vs 45th for Oregon.  I could only imagine what our offense would do against their level of competition, but it probably wouldn't make a big difference because we play our 2nd team we get ahead.  I imagine OU is not making any friends with the way they pad their stats and scores against their opponents.
