Not that the Iron Bowl needs any hype and it will probably determine if Auburn or Alabama will be playing in the BCSNCG anyway, but....

What if Boise State looses to Hawaii (7-2) and TCU looses to Utah this weekend?  Alabama would probably be vaulted up to #3 (if they beat LSU).  We would then have a #2 vs. #3 Iron Bowl game with the winner probably playing for the national championship.

Either way this is going to be a huge Iron Bowl, in a hostile crowd.  We need to buy as many tickets as possible to support the team.

spuat loses to both LSU and MSU. AU beats UTC and UGA. AU wins the West prior to the IB. There's a lot of orange and blue in JH West for the IB. The Iron Bowl is not epic, just another W for AU.

I'm not sure my heart could take it.  I really hope bama loses before then.  I think MSU has the better shot though;  hard for me to see LSU outscoring bama in what will be a defensive, low scoring game imo.

I agree about MSU, but also because Bama will be coming off the LSU game and be primed for a letdown.

I wouldn't mind BSU and TCU losing.  That way I wouldn't have to hear about it anymore.

I really can't make up my mind on who I want to win the LSU-Bama game. I will just have to watch it.

Talk about a signiture win for Mullin if they beat bama.  Especially after all the stuff happening this week with Nick Bell.  In the end though, I see them winning both games.  The MSU game could be close though.
