Anubis647 0
Saw on Jay Tate's twitter than the team's going to practice in Jordan-Hare stadium until the Iron Bowl. Anyone else heard this?
Guest jojo1515
that would be a more controlled atmosphere where reporters could be locked out and be completely out of sight out of mind.. I love this idea!!
AUAeroEngineer 0
That would explain why the lights are on in JHS tonight.
Anubis647 0
That would explain why the lights are on in JHS tonight. I was wondering that myself... I walked by at about 6:00 and I heard whistles, but of course the baseball team wasn't practicing and I couldn't find any other explanation... Ed_ 3
Per Charles Goldberg tweet: Auburn practiced in Jordan-Hare the last two nights, and will continue to do so. "Just changing things up a little bit,'' said Gene Chizik

wadechristopher 0
Yeah, they will play in the stadium to try and produce real gameday experience. A ton of loud music pumped in where everyone can't hear.

Connecticut Tiger 0
Bama better watch out. This has to be the scariest news Bama has heard yet. Gus may come up with 20 new formations and 100 new plays......then again he might not change anything. Keep guessing Bama.

screeder1 0
I was told at the UGA game that they were also starting to break ground on the new practice facility therefore they would be practicing in JH. Not for sure though. WDE!
AUBourne 425
Good move since Saban would do anything to win. Now I hope we have a plan for calling plays in code over the head sets because I still think it is odd how good bama schemes when they play at home compared to how they play on the road. tigertheeagle 0
If I am not mistaken the team normally takes their practices to the stadium after the last home game of the season. Not concerned if the field gets tore up since no games are left.

Don't think the AHSAA would like a torn up field. 2010 High School Football Championships will be played at Jordan-Hare on December 2nd & 3rd. Auburn will want the field looking great. If you watched last years championship games from bds or jh west, the bammer field did not hold up and was in terrible shape.

There is a reason they have been on probation most of the past 20 years. There is nothing those people wouldn't do to win games. Saban's mentor was caught spying on opponents practices. You really think they wouldn't eavesdrop on the headsets? Better safe than sorry. Take no chances when it comes to the evil empire.
NCmtncat 0
Glad that the Seniors on this team get to wind down their playing days at Auburn by practicing in Jordan-Hare, especially after their last game (UGA) in JHS left such a sour taste in their mouth. These guys have really been through a lot during their stay at Auburn and my hat's off to them! War Eagle and let's BEAT BAMA!!!
