Someone called about the NCAA interview with Jody... Paul acted very very strange... would not let the caller pursue that....  To me that is confirmation that the 10 ton rat is coming from Ttown...

Anyone else hear this?

I did. You could have flash frozen steak there was so much ice in his voice after that call.

There is something really big going on here. Now, the question is whether or not the NCAA really wants to bring all of this out with the possible consequences it might have for the SEC and the biggest money maker for the NCAA. I doubt the institution will hurt its biggest asset that much.

I for one, just can't buy into the Vast Conspiracy theories, the ones coming from either camp.

I called a local sports talk radio station here in Pensacola yesterday. The host went to t-town for the MSU v Bama game. He was there Friday and Saturday. I asked him," everything about the case is still old news, the only thing new was Jody White. What do you think his involvement is?" Well, while I was still on the phone, he started talking about Bill Bell and how he didn't think he was credible. I found it strange he skipped over what I asked him about. We went back and forth for a minute and then I asked him again to talk about Jody White and I would hang up and listen. As soon  as I hung up, he started talking about Cecil and then went to commerical. Needless to say he never brought up after the break or the rest of the show.  I have heard no one mention his name at all other than the one day that AL.com said he was interviewed. That is very strange to me.

I know the owner of that station. He and his sons are big Bama fans.

Did you also notice that the Finbaum syndicated show is back on the station since the Cam story broke? Wait till the next time they need technical help from me!

It's hard for a good person to see a bad person(or people) for what they really are.  "Takes one to know one."  If your not one, or don't understand one, you can't know one.  Good for you, good person.

Did I just post that on a football message board?

PF has done that several times since last Friday.  He blows it off every time that name is mentioned.  He acts like he doesn't even know who JW is.  I mean today he called him Toby Keith.  PF is smarter than that.  I am smelling that rat also.  I say one rat may be leaking info to another rat so he can leak it to the national media.  Where are those black helicopters??

I caught that part of the show too -- also called him "Jodie Foster Wright", trying to make it all out to be a joke.  But his tone had definitely changed.  Also made a crack about Bo Jackson -- that he'd "seen all of him he wanted to see" last weekend.  He clearly didn't take kindly to Bo's "ten ton rat" remark!  At that point, my daughter made me turn it off...she loves her some Cam (she got a #2 jersey at homecoming), but is getting really tired of the drama.  She's 16 and goes to an all-girls' school so she gets plenty of drama all day long!

Thanks for the compliment,  :-\   I think     :)

While I do think most people are basically good, I don't think it is man's inherent goodness that prevents these wide ranging conspiracies, many people are capable of much worse. I think it is man's fear and intellect that prevents such.

Once a conspiracy gets beyond about 10 people, it gets very hard to keep it together.  Also once a person is in on the conspiracy, some, or all of the parties, are indebted forever to the  others.

The test for me is this: first I look at how many people would have to be involved in the conspiracy to make it work. Secondly, consider what each of the parties has to gain or loose.

Then I ask myself if a man with a good reputation who was smart enough to rise to a well paying prominent position and/or acquire substantial wealth be willing to put it all at risk by engaging in some nefarious action where he had to let 10-20 or more other people in on the deal to execute it, and otherwise risk everything he has over a football game? Would this man not be smart enough to see that these other 19 men would own him?

Now, add to the equation that any one of the co-conspirators could write a book exposing it all and become an instant millionaire?

How many people would it take to carry out whatever conspiracy it was that prompted this response ?

Great points.  I just don't see it being that complicated.  Kenny is a sleazeball who misrepresented himself as being a representative of Cecil.  It didn't work.  Jody Wright knew about the incident and happens to work for the turds.  He tells the story to other turds.  "They" or he, leak it to the media.  The rest is just organic, takes on a life of its own and things unfold. IMO of course.

The King of England didn't believe in conspiracies until he lost the North America colonies.....

I can buy into a lot of what you wrote. However, but the conspiracy that prompted my initial response also had the NCAA and the SEC involved.  Other theories have people at multiple media outlets involved.

Just for the sake of argument, how many people would have to be in the know to carry out the circumstance you described?

Oh, and BTW, there was no Internet when the colonies were established, so it was a little easier to keep things under wrap.  ;D  However, I know what you meant, and you do make a good point.  :-)

well in George's defence he was a German and thus probably understood very little of what the English were telling him. bit of a language barrier that a king should not deal with. he actually couldn't read the Declaration of Independance because it was in English

George III was born in England and English was his first language.  English was not the first language of his 2 predecessors though.
