We lost a 1st place vote too. So ridiculous. I guess not playing makes you look like you don't deserve to be number 1.

The problem with that is is that none of the top 3 played this week.

To bad we cannot decide it the right way like Division I FCS where they have actually expanded from 16 to 20 teams, yet we have to rely on voters and a human programmed computer to decide our fate. If you want to see what common sense looks like here it is...

That's my point. If we didn't play, how did the voter that changed decide we weren't worthy of being number one. It's not like TCU or Oregon played either. I don't think it went to Boise either. I think they lost a 1st place vote too.

When Oregon and Boise struggle, this week, and we beat Bama, I expect to see a huge shift.  I think a lot of voters are considering the Bama game to be our one real test.

I don't think Oregon or Boise need to struggle...a good majority of the voters/media think Bama will beat us.  When we go out there and leave no question about who the best team is, we will make a BIG push in the polls.

A double digit victory in Tuscaloser will put us at the top of the BCS without question in my opinion.

Now...BEAT BAMA!

And the other 5 top 25 teams we played weren't a test??  Nobody else has played close to that many top 25 teams.
