AuburnWarVet 46
As I am sitting here listening to Tiger Talk an elderly man calls in and expresses his gratitude for what CGC has done for Auburn...he then asked if he received the letter and picture that was dropped of at his office today for an 80 year old cancer patient who actually has a signed picture of every coach since Shug Jordan. The elderly man's bday is Saturday and CGC signed the picture on the show so he can pick it up and hand deliver it for the bday. I love Auburn!!! WAR EAGLE! AUPAC 0
When he was hired I thought it was a mistake and for the last 2 years, all he has done is prove me wrong. He represents himself and the university better than any SEC coach.
dp4au 2
Thankfully our AD was able to see what many NCAA coaches see. A man who could make good thing happen and do it with class!

mckibaj 0
This is a good read from when we went to Texas. http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/tex/graphics/newsstand/AAS_--_Chizik_to_keep_Texas_defense_moving_forward.pdf "Chizik got so involved with Auburn players that one Tigers expert said it wasn't unusual for them to tell the coach they loved him." I think this is what our AD saw in him.

Farmer Brown 2,527
Coach Chizik is not ashamed of his faith in Christ. That speaks volumes to me. He has exceptional character.

au_weagle 0
Ome thing I remember sticking out is all of our players from 02-04 loved the hire. That and the staff he hired was enough for me to believe. I was as doubtful as anybody when I first heard it.
Nashville War Eagle 0
I've said it before in here but I really hope one day to be able to meet CGC and if its only a 2 minute talk, to be able to shake his hand and personally thank him for what he has done for Auburn and the class and dignity with which he has done it. cmccullough 0
Malzahn told me the reason he is at Auburn is because Chizik and his wife are such committed Christians. He said that when Chizik was hired, he and his wife went throughout the entire Athletic Complex, praying over every room, and every desk in every room. To me, that speaks huge volumes about his character.
