Two (Potential) Critical Injuries ***FOR BAMMER***

Alabama has two players with injuries that could have a significant impact on the game.  Trent Richardson hasn't played since LSU when he was hurt on the touchdown catch.  He has practiced this week with a brace on.  Expect him to play, but the brace could impact his speed and mobility.  Barret Jones (OL) missed last week after suffering a high ankle sprain against MSU.  He has practiced sparingly this week.  Anyone who knows athletics knows that high ankle sprains can linger and are very painful.  That would leave a redshirt freshman in his spot which would impact an already suspect OL.

LOL you should put Bama in the label, I thought you were talking about AU injuries and nearly crapped my pants at work! :P

Richardson will be fine, he could've played last week. Jones, though, is questionable about whether he's gonna play. He's been wearing a non-contact jersey this week, so he may not play, which would be a huge blow

I'm hoping they're as close to 100% as possible. "WE COMIN!"

I agree!!!  :)  This is the attitude to have!!!  I want it to be legit.....brutal, but legit!!!

I'll add that I still don't think Ingram is 100% after his knee surgery.  With him and Richardson both being banged up that SERIOUSLY decreased the effectiveness of their O.  You shut down their running game and Bama has fallen apart this season.

Ingram was limping quite visibly during the Ga. State game.

I want to beat them at their best - no excuses for the bammers....

What position does Barret Jones play on the line specifically?

If Nick fairley gets to feast on his backup it might get FUN.

Guard....Nick Fairley has already put on his bib, getting ready for the Iron Bowl Feast.

In just a few series, all of these guys will be limping again. Personally, I don't care if they have injuries or not. That's simply part of the game to me. Auburn has dealt with injuries all season, and they had plenty against Alabama. I didn't hear anybody making excuses for us. It will be their best regardless of who is playing. Yeah they are banged up a bit, but Auburn has been banged up a good bit this season as well. I don't care what is wrong with them really. They will make excuses anyway. You really think if they are completely healthy and lose they aren't going to say that we were cheating with Cam Newton out there in the first place?

The way I look at it is we have 2 D linemen that are out for the first half due to BS that GA started so Bama won't be getting our "best".  So if we're going to be a little ham-stringed then I'm fine with them being so as well.

According to ESPN, Jones wore a no contact jersey at practice and "was seen struggling", and they claim that backup guard, R-FR Anthony Steen will be starting his second career game.

It doesn't matter who plays for them, people, they will use every excuse ever heard anyway. Hopefully after a couple of series, Ginger will throw in the skirt and AJ can get some more of that spanking he likes so much. It doesn't matter who wears crimson, it's the fact that they were crimson. :beatmullet:
