Go deep early and often

Come out and play no hold's barred....five wide throwing 20 yards deep at a time.Tenn. will be back on their heels for at least the first half if we play a true west coast system. Then gradually bring Brown and Williams not to mention the lost Tre Smith back into a smash mouth game.

This is what its gonna take to gain confidence in the ability to be the AGGRESSOR instead of the hopeful underdog roll. It's time to step up and put it on the line. It's time to own the field instead of playing the field position game.

The world's watching and who know the Caddy or Brown or Campbell or Rogers could be reading these post as we type.....This is THE game as of NOW....play as if there isn't another one.

:au:

I think the coaches are pounding that into their heads this week. However, I don't think they will immediately open up and start throwing deep, but you never know they might. That's what is so thrilling with this offense. As long as Borges, keeps everyone, except our boys guessing, then things should run smoothly in Knoxville. (oh yeah, the D has to have one hell of a game, too!)

WAR EAGLE AND BEAT THE VOLS!!!!!!

I think you're wrong about the field position thing. The games we've been beaten the last two seasons have come from giving opponents the short field via turnovers and penalties. I think leaving two freshman QB's with a long field to traverse all night should be number one on the strategy page.

In an article on espn.com, it was said that most of Tn TD drives have been about 55-70 yds long.

So what does this mean.

Not sure. but lets make sure we keep them on their heels and and force them to 3rd and long.

They also have the best punter in the country in Colquit.

Field position will be a HUGE factor in this game.

Tn is a running team, but they will pass considerably.

They are an on-again, off-again kind of team.

Lets start this game off strong. and NO mental mistakes!

WDE!!
