Isn't it obvious that this will be our only chance at a home night game? No TV coverage means it will be a shorter game so people wouldn't be getting home so late. Why not scxhedule the KO for 4:00pm or 6:00pm. I'm sure you'd sell more tickets and sell more merchandise.

This is just silly to play at 1:30 when no one is making you.

Are you high? Do you really think that CBS will not pick up that game and televise it at 2:30... :homer:

That will be the biggest game in years in that series and CBS is going to jump all over it with their first pick....

Au vs. UGA on CBS at 2:30pm Count on it.

uga will be at 2:30. no doubt. i'm just afraid that jp may jump on the kentucky game if we beat arkansas this weekend. it sucks that we aren't playing at night. it would suck worse to play at 11.

Yeah, that sucks Turd. I still don't understand why they pull the 1:30 KO when no one is making you but it could be worse...what was our record this time last year?? ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that the TV contract allowed ESPN to trump CBS and take the first pick for the SEC game of the week once a year. If that is the truth, I could see them taking Auburn and GA.

The 2002 AU v. UGA game was on CBS @ 2:30. I have a feeling that it will be another 2:30 game this year.

nope it was a night game it was FREEZING and I remember Adrian Karston coming through Tiger Walk as he always does when he is in AU.

I've noticed that the 40 and over crowd typically likes the day game while the 40 and under crowd typically likes the night game....ESPN already trumped CBS for SEC game rights to UT vs. AU...dopn';t think they can trupm them again

Yes, that game was rediculously cold because it was so wet and there was a wind whipping through the student section. I made the mistake of wearing shorts and a t-shirt, and ended up freezing for 5 hours straight. Then Gibson caught that pass to make my misery even worse. What a bad day. Good game though.

How can anybody forget about the AU 2002 game. It was a 2:30 game and it went into the night. How can anyone forget that game; we started off winning and the ugay won on that miracle 4 and 15 play. I still get sick just thinking about it.

I looked at the other games salted for that day and beleive me; it is a no brainer; uga/au will be a 2:30 game on cbs!!

It was a 2:30 kickoff game. Why do I remember? Because earlier that day I went around my county (walker) looking at storm damage from 2 F3 tornados, and remember the 2:30 kickoff time. Also it was on CBS because last year when the Alabama/Arkansas game was delayed because of storms, they showed the ending of the game on there. It was in the 40s ALL day that Saturday.
