DKW 86 6,928
Has had theirs as the game? We seem to be playing extremely well this year, could the very tight game have been our underperforming game?
GoAU 1,479
Sounds good to me! If it was, then this could be a very special year indeed.
StatTiger 3,086
David, We probably should have score 17 pts against LSU but we were sloppy in the redzone. Borges commented that Tuberville elected to stay conservative on offense because of the way our defense was playing against LSU's offense. It will be interesting to see what our offense can do at full throttle. I believe we saw the potential against UT. WDE
Draven 0
I could handle LSU as our underpreforming game this year. If thats the case hold on guys this year is going to be one to remember for a long time.

Lurking Tiger 60
The Citadel was out letdown game. We should have broken the scoring record on them.
Duder 188
If LSU was our letdown game, this season will be amazing. However, I see some kind of an issue against Arkansas. It'll be tight early but we SHOULD pull away later in the game as the talent difference down the depth chart shows itself.
AuNuma1 1
I don't expect Auburn to go undefeated. We're in a really good position to make it to Atlanta this year and I'm just hoping for a strong showing in the Georgia Dome. Beyond that, it's all gravy to me. If it's meant to be, it'll happen...no sense in expecting it.

You can have the better team and win outright, be equal and play better and win, or just pull a huge upset. But nothing is pre-ordained in football. That's why they play the games. Are we due for a letdown? If we are, this is the week. Hopefully, Auburn continues to get better each week. I hate seeing people picing us to blow out AreKansas. Heck, I even said 31-14, because I hope that is what it turns into. However, we have to be ready each week and play our best game each week, or we will fall. And we know what happens when we lose; We will fall at least ten spots in the polls.

Will Auburn get the opportunity? I think the answer is "YES" to both!
BoJtrueAUman 4
I think our guys are up for this. We need to be loud this weekend we need to show our support and we need to be a tiger walk. WAR DAMN EAGLE BEAT ARK!!!
sportwareagle 0
I think Arkansas will be closer than a lot of people, especially those that don't follow the games between these two, expect it to be. With that said, I still expect Auburn to win by 7-10 points once our depth runs all over the poor little piggies. Oh yeah, I expect this to be a high-scoring game, too. If LSU was our letdown game, WATCH OUT!!!! WAR DAMN EAGLE AND BEAT THE PIGGIES!!!!
quietfan 233
Has had theirs as the game?We seem to be playing extremely well this year, could the very tight game have been our underperforming game? 110899 I'm glad you clarified it as "underperforming" rather than "losing". While I think our most probably actual loss or losses will be against Georgia and/or in the SECCG (and I think we have excellent chances to win those), I thnk we are more likely to see a drop off in intensity and performance against Arkansas or possible Ole Miss on the road. I still think we win both of those, but we might see a let-down in intensity simply because we'll be favored in both and the team may relax too much and let the Hogs or Rebels play us close. However, from what I've read in the papers this week, seems like the guys are doing a good job of staying fired up for Arkansas. If there is a real surprise on the horizon, it could, remotely, possibly, be Ole Miss. We will be heavily favored and therefore at greater risk of over-confidence. They will be inspired to salvage something significant from the season. Technically, they are tied for second in the West right now and may still foster fantasies of making it to Atlanta if they beat us (although they do have to play Tennessee before us). And of course, we've only had two road games so far, so might we lose some of our edge from the traveling? Again, I don't expect to lose to Arkansas or Ole Miss, but because of that very expectation we might relax and let them scare us.
Ravad 73
I think our "Let down game" was this past weekend. I have been to all the home games and saw the rest on TV and IMHO I thought we looked very mediocore alot of the time. For examples, that "2 minute drill" and the end of the first half? I think we started on about the 40 and wound up back about 30 to the ten. Our D got burned for big chunks a few times that were called back by penalties. I think this was the let down game after the big win at Tenn.
Proud Tiger 4,261
Yours will come on December 4th. 110918 You got that right.....we get ours by winning the SECC and beating Tenn. twice in one year. That will stick in your craw for a few years before you get to play us again.
