Why would JP pick the UF game over our game with UK? Do they not check the polls? Will more people be watching the UF? Sounds kinda dumb to me. UF is down and not playing with enthusiasm where Auburn is the most exciting team in the SEC right now.

You may have answered your own question. UF/MSU might be a closer/better game than AU/UK.

Who knows why these guys pick the games that they pick?

Is the Auburn/Ole Miss game on jp, next week? If so, I doubt they want to play the same team that close in weeks.

Isn't there some kind of deal where every SEC team has to be on JP a minimum number of times? If so, that may play into why Fla. vs. MSU

Im sorry but I hate the JP guys. They have good camera shots and all. But they talk about the dumbest stuff. Watch them this weekend and see what I mean.

No, I don't believe so. It would be difficult to do because two stations have a pick before JP (CBS and ESPN). It is possible that a team may not play at all on JP.

This will be MSU's third game on JP. This will be UF's first and UT has yet to play on JP though they are scheduled for Oct 30 with SC. Arkansas hasn't played yet either.

Proud, from what I understand an SEC team is only required to play at 11:30 once per the contract with JP. However they may never play or play as much as they are asked, but after once they can say thanks but no thanks. The reason I think this is because Bertman (Our AD) sent an email out to all of us saying JP came to him about the Vandy game and he said no, we are done with the 11:30 since we fulfilled the contract with Miss St.

In short, JP can pick ANY SEC team, however once they play once on JP they are no longer obligated and can simply decline...

I am not saying this is fact, this is just what our AD told us via email.
