The Gene Chizik Five Points of Success

Ian Berg

Recommended Posts

Since drivel season has now hit full steam as summer workouts are just around the corner, I figured it would be a fun time to look at coach Gene Chizik and the reasons that I think he has been and will continue to be successful on the Plains.

Let me know your thoughts, hope you enjoy the read. War Eagle.

Nice article...  You are 100% correct on Coach Chizik.  Thanks for the read and

War Eagle!     :believe:

Thanks for taking a look. Really looking forward to seeing his tenure continue for a long while at Auburn.

Great write up Ian.

Had to go to the Iphone to read it again. Not sure why the Air Force hates your site. but i'm not too surprised. I can't view quite a few links from here on my gov computer.

It's going to be exciting to watch the Tigers for years to come with CGC at the helm.

Thanks Stripe. It may be because I was in the Navy, trying to pull a branch war out on us. ha kidding. Thanks for your service bud. Glad you got to take a look.

I think Chizik has a lot of great football left to coach. He really carries a lifer type swag with him. I loved the hire then, and I continue to do so. Great guy, great coach.

Excellent Article!!  Coach Chizik is definitely an Auburn Man!  He maintains values that are much greater than just winning football games.  I hope you are right that he stays here until he retires (many, many years from now!)

Thanks AUpreacherman22. Appreciate you taking a look.

It became apparent Tuberville had lost interest in recruiting, especially if the recruit was being courted by  Chizik may not not get every top notch recruit, heck he may lose out on alot of them. But at least he and his staff will not sit idly by and let  just cherry pick what he wants from the state. Chizik and staff know it, the fans know it and  knows it.

Our recruiting has been great under Chiz, but it's time for all those stars to start producing on the field starting this year. It's Chiz' fourth year. These are all his players. No more excuses of youth, inexperience and lack of depth.

I'm excited for the 2012 season!  :wareagle:

70% are still underclassman..but at least they will have some experience and seasoning.

Apparently the Army is out to suppress your voice as well, cuz I just got the blocked screen from my computer too.

Thank you for your service, first and foremost, and to the OP, outstanding article!

Thanks Ian,

I agree with your sentiments entirely.  Coach is a principled good man and excellent leader of men.  He completely displays the Auburn creed and I also believe he will sustain success over the long term.  Many of us groaned about things we felt were not a display of Auburn football last year and coach Chizik saw this too and was willing to make  changes and did it with class concerning Ted Roof.  I believe in the Auburn Creed and strive to align myself with those same values and so I love what I have seen from Chiz and his steady approach to rebuilding our great program versus win at all costs.

Your use of emoticons in this post was off the charts funny. Great work.

Thanks for reading graffevj. I agree, Chizik makes tough decisions, but he does it with an eloquence that is unmatched. Very happy that he is leading the Tigers.
