Cant believe nobody here has said much about this. He is in Cullman today along with Ken Griffey Jr, Scottie Pippen, and Lance Armstrong. Alot of people here in Cullman are excited about them coming through here checking out the tornado damage that ripped across our county last April. They are riding through to raise support for the states relief fund for tornado victims. Although they end in tuscaloosa with a big party and auctioning off various items with Bo, Cam and others autographs on them, I think this is a great cause and we should get behind it. This is def a great cause and just shows how much of a class act Bo is and will always be. Just to see the other pro athletes and celebrities who have reached out shows that Bo has earned respect that reaches even further out than he gets from the Auburn family. :wareagle:

It irritates me that the media isn't covering this more than they are.  ESPN will send a team of reporters to stalk Cam and HBO will let four jerks lie their rear ends off in prime time and what Bo and the others are doing really matters and makes a difference in lots of folks lives and it gets a blurb in some back page blog.  That tells you how far the media has fallen in this country!

Unfortunately the majority of people don't want to hear about good news or people doing good things.  That is why almost all news organizations lead their newscasts or websites with the worst stories.

AU is always helping others and improving lives. Nothing new. We do not need press coverage to do good for our fellow man/woman/child. Its not news that Bo is being an Auburn Man. This is simply who we are. To me, it is news when something goes wrong or specks of dirt are found regarding our university............its the anomaly.

Have not been on the board in awhile and just came across the thread. I did the Jasper to Bessemer leg of the ride. What an AUsome experience it was, I was very honored to ride in it and met some great people some were even bammers . I was very touched by the people that came out to greet the group as we rode. I got to briefly talk to Bo twice on the ride, very impressed at his character and his love for the state. I also got to meet Lance Armstrong, who was also a stand up guy.  I did the ride to honor my Grandmother who lost her house during the storms on April 27th, She survived the storm but sadly passed away this past January at the age of 90.

ESPN had a good piece last night, interviews with Bo and other celeb riders, people along the way, etc....expect it will be on again.
