Well, I take it as a good omen that they're saying we'll be "sneaky good" AND my friend's daughter is on the cover in the upper right corner!  extracool.gif

Your friend's daughter is pleasant on the eyes.

Lindy's and Phil Steele are the only 2 preseason magazines I'll pick up.

I had Phil last year and he hammered us. But, was fairly close in his analysis. His predictions are not exact but more or less in the ball park. One of the things he had against us last year was youth and depth. He was exactly right about that.

The comments by coaches after spring have created a little more interest in our favor. We could really halp shapoe the SEC race. And, highly doubtful we see a repeat of last year.

The other day Phil Steele was on Bill King's show and said his mag will be out prolly by June 5th or something like that.  He also said some locations put them out early and he suggested to start looking for them on June 2nd, or a few days before (may be Memorial Day weekend is what I took from what he said).

WDE!!!

I think that since the vegas boys have us at 7.5 (based on another thread I read here)--most of the mags will have us at 7 or 8. Prob won't see anyone go out on a limb and pick us to win the 9 or 10 that we could sneak up and get. Well, could do better than that but that would be crazy to even think--you know, like 2010!

Never bought one of those Steel or Lindy mags. Are they worth picking up?

If you accept that they're grossly overpriced, and light on content, they can be fun to have around.

Anyone ever get the Maple Street Press team-specific magazines?

Phil Steele isn't light on content at all.
