London Olympics ban social media sharing

So, if you were planning to attend the Summer Olympics in London this year you won't be able to take any photos or videos to share on any social networks.  WTH?

The SEC tried to do something like this a couple of years ago. It didn't work out so well for them. I doubt this will work for the Olympics either.

I have the feeling that part of this is due to the crazy photography laws that they have in the UK. As a photgrapher you have to know the rules when shooting in a particular country. England has some weird laws on that. I don't see them changing them for the olympics. So if your headed there for the games you might want to brush up on England's photography laws before you go or you could find your self in jail.

Yes they are that serious about it.
