Arrival of Freshmen

The first mini-mester at AU starts in about 10 days.  Any idea which freshmen commence acclimation of the AU experience in 10 days?  Any intelligence about those commencing the second mini-mester?  And finally, any insight on those who are going to arrive for Fall camp (and be relegated to the Scout Team and be subject to Yoxercise before most of up have even crawled out of bed)?

I seem to remember a tweet from Ricky Parks saying he was graduating, then would be "Auburn-bound" a few days ago.  That's the only one I have seen.

On SportsTalk the other day they were saying that almost all of them will on campus this summer.  I specifically remember them saying Jovon Robinson will be here in a week or so.  The only one they had a question about was Darrion Hutcherson, said he had a few things to take care of before he enrolled, but did not anticipate it being a big issue.

It's summer classes, any would be freshman for the fall can come in either during the first or 2nd mini mester. It has nothing at all to do with the early enrollees I'm pretty sure

Earle enrollees come in January, without getting into the details, basically you can have 5.

Each must be cleared by the NCAA's Clearinghouse before they can arrive on campus.

The only cap is in how many players you have on campus who are on scholarship, I believe. This is why we got Patrick Miller: he wanted to enroll early, and LSU didn't think they were going to have room because they thought Gunner Kiel was going to be enrolling early there (which he didn't end up doing).

But yeah, to answer your question, if I understand the rule right you can only have 85 players on a football scholarship at one time, so it depends on how many open scholarships you have. Generally there are one or two open schollys for any program, and if a player graduates early (or a redshirt senior who has already graduated or something) and moves on after the fall semester, then that scholarship also opens up for an early enrollee.

do the kids have to pay their own way during the summer, prior to being on full scholly in August ... or do their schollys start when they show up.  do the EE's start on scholly in january?

i assume they all are on scholly based on a couple of previous posts.  as long as the total stays under 85 at each snap shot in time.

I very strongly doubt Cass is up to 250, and if he is then I suspect that it is because he's gotten lazy and been eating too much. 235-240 I'd believe, but 250 is a stretch.

Weezy is correct JHokanson from rivals interviewed Cassanova and he stated he's 250lbs and will be playing MLB.  The coaches told him he would be playing in the middle and not OLB like they originally planned.  He also stated that he would like to play at 245 or 250 at MLB as long as he has kept his speed.  The coaches said his weight gain is okay as long as he doesn't lose his speed.

I would not doubt he is lifting and putting on the right kind of weight. As long as the body fat is low, at 6' 3" his body can easily carry that kind of weight. I have high hopes for this kid.

His age and build 250 is no issue ...if he is lifting heavy and eating right gaining muscle is easy ...
