Yes we would have been more competitive but you are only as strong as your "weakest link". If your roof is leaking, you fix it. Just for giggles lets compare: 2010 #3 Oregon vs 2011 #1 Alabama 2010 #8 LSU vs 2011 #2 LSU 2010 #11 Alabama vs 2011 #5 Arkansas 2010 #12 Arkansas vs 2011 #9 South Carolina 2010 #17 Miss St vs 2011 #19 Georgia 2010 #22 South Carolina vs #22 2011 Clemson Interesting just to look at I believe in Chiz and I believe that he has put together a very solid coaching staff. I do not imagine 2011 LSU or uat teams putting up enough points to stay with the 2010 Cam led offensive behind that senior heavy offensive line. I too think that the 2010 would have went undefeated but they could have easily lost 4 or 5 games. Heck the 2010 team was only about 10 plays away from being a 5 loss team. I am proud of CBVG and looking forward to the new defense, at the same time, I want to show appreciation to the 2010 team--one side could not do it alone. This was the main reason we struggled last year. CTR earned the ring he wears today from 2010...he also earned the goat label he wore last year. JMHO. Comparing only if you mean that I feel the 2012 team has a chance to go undefeated. Never once did I try to compare the 2011 team to the 2010 team. I only stated that 2010 could have lost 4 to five games playing the 2011 Arkys, LSus, and turds. If I was to compare the two teams I would back it up one year. The 8-5 2009 Auburn vs the 8-5 2011 Auburn. Before anyone laughs remember the 2009 team lost to kentucky at home. I think last years team "was what it was" and I am glad its over. 8-5 will be CGC's low point at Auburn. We win 10 this fall and get better from there out! I am an official sunshine pumper.
