I had the true pleasure of playing baseball with Bo under Coach Baird. Bo was all this article describes and so much more. He loved his teammates and just spending time with them.  He also gives back to Auburn and our state as evidenced by his continual presence on campus, his repeated play in the Regions classic and his most recent biking fund raiser. Class act and a true Auburn man.

There is a video out there floating around somewhere, I believe it is called "Bo Knows Bo", that tells his story pretty well.  It is kind of a 30 for 30 of that day.

The thing that stands out to me is how you have legends in both sports in awe of the guy.  So many people talk about the amazing things he did on the football field, but that video shows guys like George Brett talking about things Bo did on some random Tuesday during the baseball season.  He would sit there wide-eyed talking about how you always wanted to pay attention when Bo was up to bat or taking BP because there was a good chance you were going to see something you had never seen before.

A nice tribute to Bo from a non-Auburn perspective. Can't wait to see the new 30-for-30 movie on Bo next fall.

Thanks for the video. I was too young to watch Bo play but after watching clips like this one I can't help but be in Awe of the guy. I'm so glad he's an Auburn man. It's cool to have someone around the program that's almost irrefutably the best all around athlete of any time.
