Hey guys! I’m new to the board and sorry if this is old news to you all but I found this to an interesting video on youtube “Pat Dye speaks the truth”

It’s a video of Coach Dye commenting on Auburn’s QB race as only he can. Check it out.

I appreciate that l1tay2. I've been an Auburn fan since I was 3 years old and am originally from Mobile but I've been living in the Northwest Indiana/Chicago area for the last 18 months.

I'm glad I found this board so I can stay up on my Auburn Family!

I didn't really think about that but I'm sure Clint is giving it his all and will get plenty of opportunities to play.

he's a real nice guy.  watched him play a lot at Leroy and I met him at the mall in Mobile, Al. He was very nice and spoke to my 5 year old son. I'd love to see him win at Auburn.

Not sure why AU fans would be excited about this video 

Conversations that take place in private are meant to stay private. Or they used to be. Love the coach, but he needs to realize that this is a new time and he can't just speak his mind while out in public. Even though he seemed to think he was having a private convo.

I didn't say I was excited, just that it was interesting. I'm almost certain the Coach thought  he was speaking privately. Anyhow, he may be from an older school but I still certainly respect his opinion. He's seen a few good athletes in his time (#34)

It's from a Bammer.  So what?  One of us would post the same thing if it had been Gene Stallings talking about Bama.

And I do hate Clint hearing that.  No way that's good for you in the short run.  I'm sure Coach Dye wishes he hadn't said that.  Doesn't help anyone. 

It does make me root for Clint really hard.  I'm a big Kiehl fan -- but they're all our guys.

Coach said the same thing that a lot of us are thinking. I just hate that someone had to play like a spy and get this vid without his o.k. It's not like it was in a public setting. If Clint does see it, hopefully it will be motivation and not a downer.
