Auburn has been a leader for years with proper helmet fitting.  Notice how often you remember Auburn players losing helmets during games vs other teams.

Its funny but its true... My helmet was 2 sizes to big. When I said something and got a new one, It was a size too small. But i liked the tighter fit better then too loose.

Maybe it was the editing but looked like the kids were taking the process seriously.  I expect that the NFL concern about concussions has caused the college players to pay attention to the guidance they are getting from the coaching staff.    Glad to see AU getting some notariety about doing the right things.

Just a side note, but I read an article a couple of weeks ago that indicated Auburn was renovating the equipment room. I assume that video was shot before the work started. I know they have already done a lot of renovations to other areas since Chizik took over as coach

Very interesting. It also made me think  about that helmet fit is something that is checked at least on an annual basis since players continue to grow while at AU.

Yeah over the last 5 years or so it has turned into an epidemic, players losing helmets. But it has nothing to do with how they fit, the players nowadays want to have their faces on tv more so they dont buckle the chin starps enough... Both with snaps and how tight the straps actually are... Its ridiculous.
