The coaches are thinking about signing a FB in this class and if they do it may be

. He camped at Auburn recently and will be back for another camp on July 14th.

I would rather have a road-grader than an athletic FB.  That is just me though.  He seems like a good player, but it is hard to tell where his athleticism translates to me.  I didn't watch the whole film, but I saw him getting taken down by one player often.

This is exactly what i was thinking. He looks fairly athletic, but just not powerful enough for a true FB JMO...Maybe the coaches think Yox can help that a little  :dunno:

William Andrews - More Atleteic than just big turned out to be a great Fullback and a whole lot more

i really like this guy and the reason i do,is that i am imagining him at 230# and keeping all of his athletic ability at that weight.....i can see him catching the ball out of the backfield and getting in space against a safety and/or corner......i don't think this fellow would be a wasted sign at all, just based on the video......and he does remind me of william andrews, an awful lot

I remember an athletic quarterback who became a wide receiver and was one heck of a blocker...Kodi Burns.  Blocking is a mentality not just physical size.  If a fullback is athletic and tough, then I want him.

The kid looks talented. I have to admit I was hoping to see him make some blocks. He will need to block if he will play FB for AU.

Sounds like Jordan likes AU and would commit

In-state athlete Jordan Chunn camps at ‪#Auburn‬, now patiently awaits an offer from his "dream school"

These are some of the kids I want. I realize you go out and recruit the best talent on a large scale, but sprinkle a few of these hard workers that really really really want to be at Auburn in with each class and it is perfect IMO.

I like him alot, great work ethic and dreams of AU offer, however there are so many good backs ahead of him on the board. I wonder if he would be willing to work his way on to the team, walkon for a year or two then possibly earn his scholorship. So many of these kids will never get an opportunity. However, some work hard and never give up on their dream. Means, Burgess, Fisher. The great part is they get an education.

Wouldn't you think we'd need to take a FB in this class to start building some depth behind Prosche? As it stands on the depth chart in the Auburn Football forum, Prosche is the only FB on the roster.

Would love to have a FB behind Prosch, just not ready to give up a scholorship that we could give Bryant, Green, or Wilkins.

Well the question is, can we afford to not have a back up?  Does lefty's offense need a FB?

If so, there definitely needs to be someone behind him.  If nothing else, there needs to be someone there in the weight program getting ready to take over.  Prosche only has two years of eligibility left.  By the time another FB gets there, if we don't get another transfer or a JC, Prosche will only have one year left.  That means if we don't take one this class, whoever we take next class has to be ready to play the minute he gets on campus.  The more I think about it, the more I don't see it as an option to not take a FB this year.

No. Lefty can adapt to almost any personnel.

I guess the better question is, does he want a FB?  I understand that he can adapt, but that doesn't necessarily mean that's what he wants.

I agree it would be good to go ahead and bring in a FB this year - But I don't see how we can spare another scholly in this class. It might be an option to offer someone a grayshirt this year since the numbers are tight. Not sure whether Chunn would be up for that, but it would be a way to get him on campus and start grooming him to be Prosch's replacement in a few years.

I don't think that anyone has defined what Left prefers as an offense. Maybe Lefty is a true realist and understands that he has to play the hand he is has been dealt.

Most strategist have their "ideal" situation, that which gives them the most versatility and effectiveness.

If his ideal situation is to have a FB then you can bet we will find one.
