Is there video of it anywhere. That's what I want to see.

Click the link. It's in there.

I saw yahoo.com in the link and assumed it was a written article.

Wait, everything Ive seen you say about LeBron sounds just like Skip :dunno:

It's not about the subject matter. It's about somebody putting Skip "Tebow" Bayless in his place. He is wrong 80% of the time. I only half agreed with Skip about Lebron on the court. I do not agree with Skip's belief that a player can only be born with the clutch gene. I believe it can be learned or brought out. Dirk and Lebron the last 2 years are proof of that IMO. My feelings about Lebron has nothing to do with anything on the court. I feel as strongly now as I did then that what Lebron did to Cleveland was wrong. When most superstars leave a city it does not leave an economic downfall like what happened in Cleveland. My heart still goes out to all the people who lost their jobs because of his departure. However, I was still one of the first people who congratulated him on his first title via twitter before game 5 was over.

I agree about Skip,he is almost like a character on a wrestling show.He is either a "heel" or "face" just for the sake of arguing with people. He is possibly the most annoying on air talent on that channel, along with Jesse Palmer.I get you about LJ,he sure didnt leave Cleveland with a lot of class.

"Why do you run a zone, Skip?"

 That's just funny. Skip is so clueless about basketball it's ridiculous. I feel like I know more about defensive basketball from one practice before the seniors vs faculty game I played 10 years ago than he does from all his time spent covering sports. Seriously, if he's going to try to throw down like that, he really needs to educate himself. Cuban was absolutely right about generalities.

Can't agree with the article's assertion that Skip didn't seem to care. He was about foaming at the mouth because he was getting taken to school so thoroughly.

I actually like Stephen A. At least he knows what greatness is whenever he sees it.

You give skip farrrrrrr to much credit. He is proof of what my Grandaddy used to tell me....."A blind hog will find an acorn every now and then".

The only reason I gave him 20% is because he has a weird track record on being right alot on the NFL Draft minus Tebow.

You can't blame LJ for economic downfall in Cleveland. If the management was dumb enough to put all their money into one guy, when that one guy leaves they are screwed. Then you get what you deserve. Players change teams, especially good players that want to win. They will move where they feel they can win and get paid for doing it. It’s a fact of pro sports.

As for how he left, that’s a media sideshow, all overblown. Just because the guy had the balls to stand there and announce it flat out, Everyone all of a sudden hates him.

Blaming LJ for economic downfall in Cleveland makes no since what so ever. Besides these owners and coaches are supposed to be building teams not individuals. Don’t bet the house on one player in a team sport. That’ just dumb.

Yes I believe that if there was a huge economic downfall in Cleveland due to Lebron leaving that is a bigger testament to what is wrong with the city of Cleveland than what is wrong with Lebron. Was "The Decision" a bad idea? Absolutely. But you can't fault a man for wanting to leave the city of Cleveland to join other good players (and good friends as well) and play in South Beach.

I never said anything about how he left. That is not even an issue. The fact is Cleveland is a small market city where alot revolved Lebron. When he left it caused a $ 4 million down swoon and alot of people did in fact lose their jobs. How much management paid him had nothing to do with him leaving Cleveland. As talented as Lebron was and is nobody wanted to go play in Cleveland because before this year the players did not know if he could win big because he had never truly been clutch and grabbed moments by the throat. If he had shown that trait a lot of players would have begged to go to Cleveland to play with him.

Wait, why did Lebron do Cleveland wrong? He brought more excitement to that franchise than there had ever been before. He took them to the Finals, and did everything he could to win it all. Then, he made the personal decision to move on to somewhere else. Why is that so wrong? Does he not get choices now? Cleveland won the lottery, so they are entitled to have him for the duration of his career (or until he gets old and they decide they want to trade him)? Really?

It's not about Cleveland for me. It's about all the little people that lost their jobs because of his decision. Yes he obviously gets to choose. But if he had a dominant personality like MJ, Bird, or Magic he would not have had to leave. All the free agents would have flocked to him at Cleveland. I am not saying he did Cleveland wrong. I am saying he took the easy way out to go to Miami instead of balling up and get players to come to him in Cleveland. If this was in a mid or major market it would not have bothered me because it would not have much affect of the livelihood of the people in that city. I am not saying or implying Lebron is a bad person. I am just saying if I was in his shoes I would have stayed in Cleveland because it would kill me to know so many people lost their jobs because of me. I guess I think about how my decisions affect others more than a lot of people.

Uhhh...ell, you kinda did just say he did Cleveland wrong. If Lebron leaving is the reason those people lost their jobs, how much did him being drafted by them create the jobs in the first place? I think it's commendable that you care how your decisions affect other people, but Lebron has been vilified for leaving town (and I'll even admit that I don't like the way he did it with that announcement), ostracized for not winning it all (in spite of turning Cleveland around from an also ran to Eastern Conference champs without a whole lot of help), and booed off the court during his final series as a Cavalier.

No, maybe he's not MJ, Bird, or Magic, but what does that matter? Why can't he just be Lebron?

As I said in my post him not being like MJ, Bird, or Magic matters because the free agents were not going to Cleveland since they did not know at the time if Lebron could step up and win championships. Bottom line is this. This subject came up because Bro thought I was like Skip Bayless in my view of Lebron. I clarified my feelings on Lebron. I will always be disappointed for him leaving the people of Cleveland. It's my right to feel that way. Just as it's all your rights to be cool for him to do whats best for himself. Neither one of those things are going to change. Even though I am disappointed in him I do want him to fulfill his potential as the most talented basketball player our Heavenly Father has ever created.

It's absolutely your right to feel that way. I actually agree; I would have rather seen him stay in Cleveland, because if he does that, no matter what happens for the rest of his career, he's going to be beloved by his hometown team. The whole problem I had with your post was that you said he did them wrong by leaving.
