Corey Lemonier Packs a Punch

Howdy folks!

Looking over some you tube clips of Auburn last season and Corey Lemonier constantly stood out like a sore thumb.  Dude is a freak with his size and speed off the edge.  I through up a blog post about him thought you may want to check it out.

Also, being from Kentucky, sorry to hear of the troubles of Zeke Pike.  Hopefully he gets going in the right direction as he is a super talented kid.

How do you complete 63% of your completions ? Is that like 39.69%? Just wondering......

He is definitely a beast.  As productive as he was last year, I wonder if having to play on different sides of the line at any given play hurt his production at all.  It would seem to me that if the same OL man was forced to attempt to block Corey on every play that he would be so worn out that Corey's stats would improve.  I think that since he will always play on the same side this year would create an advantage for the Auburn D.

Considering one of the NFL pundit type of magazines had Dee Ford as one of the 5 overall names to watch in the SEC this year, and him lining up opposite Lemonier, we're gonna have a SCARY DL group.

Yeah consider this year being Corey's audition for the NFL draft and expect him to go even harder for that reason, but most of all this kid gets it and he wants this team to be great.  :wedance:

Not to mention Nosa, Owens, and Sanders. Owens has really been making some noise ever since they switched him back to DE.

Corey Lemonier will be a top ten pick in next years draft, unless he stays for his senior year. Wishful thinking. I'm gonna miss that kid, but he deserves and has earned everything he gets. War Eagle!
