Army SPC Josh Wetzel, AU fan, injured

I'm not posting this link to start a political discussion, but rather so the AU family can encourage one of our own who was brave enough to serve and protect our country.  Josh was injured in an explosion and lost limbs.  He was visited by the President and this link provides an address where you can write Josh and also a website and facebook page. He deserves our thanks!

The Homes for our Troops organization is holding a ground breaking ceremony for Josh Paige and their soon to be new house in Auburn today at ten. This excellent organization is providing REAL help to disabled veterans by building houses suitable for disabled veterans, not just giving away t shirts with their emblem on it.

Volunteers are needed so if you feel compelled to help or donate, the necessary information is on the following link. I just found this information so I'm sorry there wasn't more of a 'Heads-up'.
