I heard yesterday that Qua was going to transfer to Auburn. I searched for info and came up blank. I know he played LB at UK and Joker was not happy he left. Anyone else have any info on him.

Interesting.  Apparently, there are some rumblings around LaGrange.  He redshirted in 2009 at KY.  He has two years eligibility left and could play immediately.

He reminds me a lot of someone after reading his background. Intensity, aggressiveness, instincts, but lacks size.

Where have we heard that before? (#21 THE BULL!)

IF true- very exciting possibility. He was playing well before he got hurt at Kentucky in 2010.

You can transfer from FBS to FCS without sitting out  a year, but not the other way around. Is this a hardship case?

It does work the other way around.  Cam Newton???

No.  Cam came from junior college.  Totally different.  What may apply here is transfer rules may not apply  if you are a walk-on who is paying your own way.

I see. My mistake.  I thought FCS and junior college were the same thing... Carry on.

As a member of multiple La grange state championship teams, Huzzie had 473 tackles, including 55 for loss.  As a high school senior, Huzzie was selected to the 2008 1st Team AAA All-State team, and was the AAA Defensive Player of the Year.  As a top recruit from the state he was recognized AJC 150.

Huzzie likely would have played as a true freshman in 2009, but a shoulder injury forced him to redshirt instead.  He played in eight games in 2010 with 17 tackles but also was limited by injuries later in the season. He got start against Florida and had 3 tackles, including only tackle for loss.  Huzzie was named a freshman All American LB at KY for that season.

He had thumb ligament surgery during his freshman year, and nagging injuries forced him to miss valuable practice and playing time.  A player with great passion and drive, Huzzie at 5-10 was now looking at a limited role for the Wildcats in the upcoming season.

Instead, Huzzie transferred to Murray State for his sophomore year in 2011 and was allowed to play right away.  As a sophomore at Murray State, he recorded an Ohio Valley Conference-best 14 tackles-for-loss.  In 10 games, Huzzie registered 80 tackles, 48 solo, three sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and four pass break-ups.

In June 2012, the linebacker was selected to the 2012 College Football Performance Awards FCS Linebacker Award Watch List.

Should be here around the 24th.

What do you mean by that? Jonesy said he was not going to play here.
