Article on remaining targets, possible flips

Recommended Posts

I was surprised to see Caldwell say Matthews was more flipable than Foster.

someone else on here said the same thing somewhere back in this thread I think! Also said that he's made several *hush* visits to AU. Would be interested to find out if that were true, but I dunno anything on that.

Much as I don't like scout's rating system, I have a lot of respect for the job Jason Caldwell and Mark Murphy do at the Auburn scout site. They do tend to know their stuff, and they are generally slower to act with putting information out there because they do more verification than the Jeff Lee type "journalists"...but I would venture a guess that the bit about Matthews being more flippable is actually kind of telling about Foster as well. I don't think Matthews comes to Auburn without Foster, and the way Caldwell talked about Reuben being a good kid and taking him at his word almost seemed like he was trying to help the kid get people off his back more than actually believing that he won't flip.

Good Call Red.
